Mormon Island is the perfect stop! Super convenient right off the interstate, yet once you’re set up it feels private and relaxing. Spacious campsites, friendly staff, and spotless facilities. A hidden gem we’ll definitely return to.

Very nice campground with electric in a clean, easy to get to location right off 80. Swimming beach, clean lake and trails around the lake.

Nice campground with easy access off the interstate.

Fantastic place to hike, fish, star-gaze, kayak, and relax. We love all the amenities for our camping life from nice, clean bathrooms, to coun-operated showers, to great washer/dryer in the on-site laundromat. Very well maintained yet balanced with being in nature.

Stopped here for a couple of nights. Quiet little campground. Clean and well taken care of. The sites were cement and level. They had electric and also tent sites. They had multiple potable water sources around the grounds to fill fresh drinking water with, and also a separate dump station with a rinse water source for the tanks. The lady at the office was very kind and helpful! It had showers and a laundry facility for campers. Would highly recommend! Will stay in the future when I pass through again! (They had a camp host on site as well- which always makes me feel safe.)

We just stayed here overnight and it was OK for that. We had to drive quite a ways off the interstate to get to our site but then there was highway noise. The grass had lots of stickers and I had to clean up the dog poop and cigarette butts in our camping site. Nice big sites with electricity and water nearby. So far we have not found a place we like to camp in the entire state of Nebraska.

This campground was right off I 80. The road noise was noticeable in the campground but not at night once inside our camper van. There’s a very nice .6 mi nature trail around the lakes. After the peak summer season no reservations are taken - its self checkin at the entrance w/ daily admission fee ( $14) on addition to the camping fee ($ 15 non electric, $25 for 30 amp, and more for 50 amp) Prices are less w/ a Nebraska pass. A ranger came by in the morning to check our pass.
