The check in rangers were do friendly and know their park. The middle field spots are not too private but everyone is respectful. A blue Heron likes to walk around camp. The CCC built stone grills and perhaps the wooden pantry boxes at some sites. Campground also has shaded areas. Some have estuary views. Some are in tall trees. There are pull through RV sites with healthy vegatation around them. Some sites back up to a major golf course. Some are across from a road and a marina! There's an exercise trail near the group camp and a wonderful wooden board walk over the estuary. Don't forget to walk to the amazing Natural history Museum, which is across the street.

This place was really cool. Morrow Bay is very lax and chill. It’s a beautiful little beach town and my favorite part was seeing all of the sea otter mom’s with their babies on their bellies.

Serene dark sand beach cove, with a golf course and history center nearby. I saw a few paddleboarders, and a tour group of kayakers out for a short trip around the bay. That water is too cold for me though. The nearby golf course looks well maintained, and wasn't very busy when we visited.

Our first time camping here and we really enjoyed it. The campsite was nice. The restrooms were clean and showers were open 24/7. There was hot water and cost one dollar for two minutes. We saw the ranger go by the days we were there. Awesome brewerys near by.

This is a very popular campground with access to the beach and harbor. There are multiple restrooms and showers located around the campground. Keep in mind that coastal weather can be somewhat unpredictable or have a large temperature swing.
