Mount Nebo

Did a paint estimate for one of the most interesting houses I've ever been in. It's yellow and white on the east cliff. Owned by Dr. Thourby who is a very fascinating person. He values his privacy so all I will say is that the inside of the house he built with his own hands should be a museum.

I am in love with this place. I have been twice now, both to mountain bike, once in an Air BnB and once using the camp grounds. This place is amazing and might deserve 10 out of 5 stars depending on what we are rating it on, but unfortunately, if I am scoring it on my camping visit, i would have to drop to 4 of 5 due to the bathroom situation. They were nice and fairly clean but way too small for a camp ground that large. Only one shower, really. If there had been more showers I would score it differently, but that to me is a problem.

I absolutely love this place! At the top of this mountain there are several sunrise and sunset spots to get an amazing view, photos, or just a quiet peaceful moment to appreciate our Creator! Lots of fun hiking & biking trails, picnic spots, and adventure waiting for you here at Mount Nebo! We can see the Promised Land from atop the Mt.Nebo & we love it here!

Absolutely LOVE this state park!! I thoroughly enjoyed the rim trail and seeing new views at every turn. Walking alongside the rock wall is cool and seeing the distant mountains in the evening was magical. Will be coming back here for sure to stay in one of the cute cabins right on the mountain.

Just a gem 💎 of a park. Although it was only 1,750 feet the view was " Real & Spectacular" The drive up through the switchbacks was inspiring. The visitor center is recently remodeled. Plenty of parking, seats, views. Well worth getting off on the interstate. Ty ASP for the lead. PS: Arkansas has hired a firm from New Hampshire to come in and build some excellent bike trails Glory to God for his creation

Mountain Nebo NEVER let's us down. I have been coming there for almost 40 years and now get to bring my daughter. It is wonderful.

We drove up from Conway for the Northern Lights because it was the closest place where we could see them according to Google. We were not disappointed! We could even see a little red with the naked eye, but it is always best to take photos. Also met a very nice lady from Texas; everyone was helping each other out to make sure no one fell in the dark. It is SO dark up there! The lights of town are pretty from up there too.

Always enjoy camping here, most especially the cabins! Cabin 4 has a gorgeous sunset view & it's next to the Gum Springs trail with seasonal waterfall.

First time camping and Mount Nebo did NOT disappoint! I was able to snag up tent site 17 for a stunning sunrise! Sunset point didn't disappoint either!😉 Bathrooms were clean and the grounds were great! I would definitely recommend booking during the week day of your looking for a little more private and quietness as the weekends are full! I booked Friday and Saturday but ended up leaving early Saturday morning. Highly recommend especially if your enjoy a good sunrise or sunset painting!🧡😉😎

The views here are breath taking , and panoramic. And u get a lot of everything as in the terrain of the trails . Rim trail was great . But there is a lot of glass broken on this trail . I guess from 100 years of using it up there . Idk . But as a hole will be back . Just no dog . It be rough on them .but other than that take in the view .it's truly amazing . And the visitor center is nice as all get out

This is a spectacular park after the treacherous steep turning drive up. 😬 The signs⚠️ that warn you about 24 ft maximum trailer and the road is steep and curvy. 🚧What the sign does not say, on the way up, is that it's an 18% grade on 180° switchbacks at 10mph!😬 I would not recommend anybody do what I did with a dual axle RV camper trailer over 5,000 lb🙅🏻♂️ I could not get up to my necessary RPM for the torque. But once you make it some of the most spectacular hiking and biking 🚴🏻♂️trails🥾 I've ever been on right! Very well maintained, well constructed,👷🏻♂️ and the best signage I've ever seen anywhere! 😱 There's some interesting history here too with the monument trails.

This is the second time we have visited Mount Nebo in six months' time. End of December 2024 and mid-May 2025. Beautiful scenery both times! Loved riding up the mountain on our motorcycles. The cabin we stayed in was excellent! Clean, cool, comfortable, and a full kitchen. The towels were thick, and I liked the soap available. I was surprised to have hotel like treatment! I'd definitely stay here again.

We took the "hard" climbing trail to the top. While it was not too strenuous it was unstable and only for those aware of how rock slides work. On another note, it was beautiful. No trash or anything. Just pristine huge rock faces and a ridiculous few from the top in any weather

We hiked roughly 6 miles. I felt the trails were not very well marked, or at least the map that was provided made it difficult to understand where one was. We really enjoyed the hike. This was the second time our Boy Scout Troop came here and they are already talking about returning.
