Pete the camp host was helpful, friendly, and super accommodating. He even switched our site to something better since there was space. Head of maintenance was awesome too and we all enjoyed a cup of coffee around the morning campfire together. Everywhere was clean, dogs were leashed, scenery was gorgeous, and we couldn’t have been happier!

Mountain River Ranch,in Idaho is such a hidden gem! The whole place feels incredibly cozy, peaceful, and clearly well taken care of by people who truly love it. Everything is neat, inviting, and has that warm “home away from home” atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. One detail I especially appreciated was the small coffee stand on site — not only was it charming, but they also offered plant-based milk options, which is a thoughtful touch you don’t always find in more rural spots. Honestly, for the quality, comfort, and care that goes into this ranch, the price feels like it could easily be higher. It’s rare to find such a well-maintained place that still feels welcoming and accessible. If you’re in Idaho and want somewhere relaxing, beautiful, and genuine, I can’t recommend Mountain River Ranch enough!

We had a group of 25 and it was the best weekend. We had an RV site, camp site and multiple cabins and all were very clean and spacious. The owners and employees are the nicest and most accommodating. We loved how convenient the location is to some of our favorite hiking spots. We have already planned our camping trip for next summer to be right back at Mountain River Ranch!

Family-friendly fun! Our kids loved the pond and mini-golf. Everyone was super friendly and courteous. The RV lots were spacious, showers and bathrooms were very clean. Trent and the staff were very accommodating and communicative. Coffee and muffins at the little coffee trailer were a nice bonus! Would definitely come back again!

We took our first trip with our camper here. It was beautiful, quiet, and really enjoyable. We brought our dogs and it was very dog friendly. We took a really nice walk down the road and our dog loved the pond. The head maintenance guy was incredibly helpful. Stopped by a couple times just to make sure we had everything and helped us out as we were newbies with the camper. His hospitality definitely made the trip for us.
