Pete the camp host was helpful, friendly, and super accommodating. He even switched our site to something better since there was space. Head of maintenance was awesome too and we all enjoyed a cup of coffee around the morning campfire together. Everywhere was clean, dogs were leashed, scenery was gorgeous, and we couldn’t have been happier!

Mountain River Ranch,in Idaho is such a hidden gem! The whole place feels incredibly cozy, peaceful, and clearly well taken care of by people who truly love it. Everything is neat, inviting, and has that warm “home away from home” atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. One detail I especially appreciated was the small coffee stand on site — not only was it charming, but they also offered plant-based milk options, which is a thoughtful touch you don’t always find in more rural spots. Honestly, for the quality, comfort, and care that goes into this ranch, the price feels like it could easily be higher. It’s rare to find such a well-maintained place that still feels welcoming and accessible. If you’re in Idaho and want somewhere relaxing, beautiful, and genuine, I can’t recommend Mountain River Ranch enough!

We had a group of 25 and it was the best weekend. We had an RV site, camp site and multiple cabins and all were very clean and spacious. The owners and employees are the nicest and most accommodating. We loved how convenient the location is to some of our favorite hiking spots. We have already planned our camping trip for next summer to be right back at Mountain River Ranch!

Family-friendly fun! Our kids loved the pond and mini-golf. Everyone was super friendly and courteous. The RV lots were spacious, showers and bathrooms were very clean. Trent and the staff were very accommodating and communicative. Coffee and muffins at the little coffee trailer were a nice bonus! Would definitely come back again!

We took our first trip with our camper here. It was beautiful, quiet, and really enjoyable. We brought our dogs and it was very dog friendly. We took a really nice walk down the road and our dog loved the pond. The head maintenance guy was incredibly helpful. Stopped by a couple times just to make sure we had everything and helped us out as we were newbies with the camper. His hospitality definitely made the trip for us.

I stayed here for a few months and intend to return next year. Trent is a very easy-going guy that does everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one. Great location a mile away from Heise Hot Springs and pizza parlor and the zip lines. There are rustic cabin rentals and a small pond for taking the kids fishing. Close to the Snake River. Has WiFi and showers

Brought a large family reunion to their campground. We had family members in the cabins, in RVs and tents. Everyone loved the experience. Large green space and a pavilion for us to use. Bathroom/shower facilities were clean and well kept. Close to many off site activities. We will book again!

Amazing staff right from the get go. Helped us to our camping spot and actually helped my husband back the trailer in. Huge win for me because I hate doing that! They checked on us several times throughout our stay and were genuinely nice people. The location is beautiful. You have lots of options of things to do every day. We hiked, fished, biked, and even went to dinner one of the three nights we were there. We will absolutely be going back. Loved it!!

We had a class reunion here and stayed the weekend. The owners took really good care of us! The campground was clean, the pavilion was perfect for our needs. They were quick to accommodate all of us! Many of us camped there in the cabins & brought our RV's. we all enjoyed our stay and had an amazing time. The grassy area was perfect to play games, sit & socialize and have our lunch and dinner on. It was nice having partial hook ups & a dump station right on site. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a lot of shade and near the hot springs, golf course, rzr riding areas, hiking and the great outdoors.

My family and I all live in different states and decided to meet somewhere in the middle for Thanksgiving. That place happened to be the Mountain River Ranch. We rented out the large cabin called the Charmingly Rustic River Ranch Cabin on air Bnb. It was filled with more than enough cooking ingredients, pans, blender, you name it. The workers were so kind and the cabin was cozy with the fire place and roomy enough for a whole family of 7 adults, 3 kids and a dog. We all had a blast. We all went to the hot springs down the road, played in the snow and walked around the Christmas lights that were set up. Highly recommend this place. Thanks to them we were able to create so many great memories!

I like to surprise my husband with a holiday show every year at Christmas. I bought tickets but I wasn't sure what to expect because I knew it was under new ownership. The dinner was well-prepared, the show was outstanding, and the owners/employees were excellent hosts. I hope they have a lot of success. I also hope they bring the same musicians back next year. I would love for it to become a family tradition

Wow, what a fun experience! We just got back from a wonderful dinner and show, and we are so impressed. It was decorated beautifully, and with the snow falling outside it was absolutely magical. The food was delicious, and consisted of steak, salad, corn, garlic bread, and a baked potato. For dessert, it was peppermint ice cream - and we're pretty sure it was homemade! The musicians, Clint King, Jacie Sites, and Nate Nelson were very talented and engaging. They had the audience in a trace when they played The Devil Went Down to Georgia! I would absolutely recommend this place for a nice night out. Definitely good to bring your family to.

WOW! what a great place, you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere, but yet not to far away from anything you want. we were on a fly fishing trip and you have a lot of places with in 5-10 minutes from camp to the Snake River, or drive a little further to Henry's Fork, or Henry's Lake and so many other places. The best part was the hospitality from Ryan, and Jack, with our late phone calls to buy more wood!! Thank you so much, and look forward to coming back some day. Kevin
