Mountain Top is simply beautiful. The cabins are very comfortable and clean. Once you meet Margaret (Office Manager) she will try her very best to take care of your every need and concern. The price is great and the scenery and space is amazing. And my family love it here. I highly recommend Mountain Top if ever you're in the area.

Clean, comfortable cabin, excellent location, minutes away from mammoth cave visitor center and the interstate (easy access to restaurants, etc). Great view and a quiet area made for a excellent weekend trip.

This place is great! It’s quiet, pretty, clean, and new! Great water, electricity, and sewer. Pull thru sites, long and wide. Owners are very friendly and Love dogs and kids. We enjoyed the pizza place at the end of the driveway, our older kids enjoyed the haunted mansion also right down the hill. The best part is the amazing view! You can see everything from the top. Glad we found this place! We will always come here for mammoth cave trips.

This place is AMAZING. The view is spectacular! Our family of 6 fix comfortably in the very inviting clean cabin. The location couldn't be better or more convenient. The owner, Margaret is lovely and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Family memories were definitely made at Mountain Top Retreat...we can't wait to go back to our Kentucky home away from home! 🏞️☺️🌞

We love this property! The owner has always been nice and helpful and it is such a wonderful getaway! This was our second time and we are hoping to make it a yearly visit. The cabins are impeccably clean and the view is wonderful. We always have fun fishing and this past time we caught over 25 fish! (All thrown back of course) I highly recommend this wonderful retreat!

Our 5 night stay was By far one of the best expierences we have had in a while. The owner of the place was so extremely friendly and very helpful with tips to help us have a top of the line vacation. Our cabin was very clean and newly renovated! Such a cute little cozy cabin! The views were breathtaking! (Even got to see the 4th of july firework show FROM OUR DECK). The Ac worked amazing and stayed very cold!! The Keyless entry's into the cabin (used a pinpad) was an amazing addon! We never had to worry about losing a key! The decks were spacious and filled with lots of seating options.. i would definitely recommend this place, especially for the great rates! We were told since my husband was a fireman he could have gotten a much cheaper rate. Since we booked online she couldnt change the price, instead she offered us free wood for our evening fires! Seriously THE BEST TRIP! Thank you!

My family of 6 stayed here for 6 nights. We loved it. It combined the comfort and convenience of a hotel with the outdoors relaxation around a campfire of camping. The view was, indeed, impressive and the owners aim to please. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We just spent a very pleasant long weekend here with our grandkids. It was very clean, and a nice option so the kids had a place to play and run around. Also, a fishing pond for the kids enjoyment. It was very quiet with a pretty view. I appreciate their strict rules to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The main negative I have is that they do list wifi on their website, but please know in advance that it is not free, like we assumed it would be. With the wifi cost per day being added into the cost per day of the cabin, it made the stay a little pricy.
