Positives about the park. Sites are on gravel. The bathroom/showers are close no matter where your site is. Doordash will deliver to you. It's quiet. Negatives about the park. The dog areas mentioned are poorly maintained so my dogs had thorns in their paws. The gym advertised was non existent the heaviest dumbbell was 10lbs and it was filthy in there. They said it's cleaned daily but the cake of dust said otherwise. The media room looked like it was the park hosts office. Note that also attached to the laundry room so any media you intend to do any media watching you'll have to listen to laundry. It's very outdated. The site spots were very narrow. The giant propane tanks for those who reside there is an eye sore along with the junk outside their sites. There were signs indicating to slow down for kids and dogs but I saw NOT one kid. I can't imagine what a kid would do there it's not close to anything and there are no amenities for a kid. The showers were small so prepare yourself for that. The bathrooms are single occupancy. Sadly this wouldn't be a place I would come back to. The clubhouse is overtaken by the residents so don't bother trying to take space in there. All things considered I came to this place as a place to stay so we can visit our son who is on deployment but if I was vacationing I would leave and cut my losses.

Ok so this place is VERY STRICT with their rules! If you can abide by their rules flawlessly, it works out great! Clean, no one really smokes here. Great views! But here we go with my story; I needed some shade for my cooler during the hotter months. So I used the camp site behind my trailer because it had a tree. I put my cooler under the tree which was a few feet from where I did a lot of my cooking. Well the ladies who run that place NEVER told me, "Hey can you keep your cooler on your side of the wooden fence incase a guest shows up because it is all online and we can not give a heads up on when another guest will come." Which I would have followed. But they never told me that. They HAD THEIR JANITOR STEEL MY COOLER! He even asked my neigbbor to help him load it in his gator!!!! Which my neighbor said "NO! I AM NOT HELPING YOU TAKE THAT MAN'S FOOD!" The janitor told my neighbor, "We want to make an example out of him!" They are VERY PICKY with what the meanings of their rules! Like they were pissed at me when I would temporarily park my bike undee that same tree for like 1 hour or 2 to keep the seat cooler when I was running errands. And whenever I left it under the tree I was always there to move it if needed! Back to the rules; your camper CAN NOT have a satallite dish sitting beside it! Another example of how picky they are with their rules was; I was not allowed to have a few gas cans for my generator sitting outside. But you were allowed to have GIANT WHITE CANS OF PROPANE GAS outside your camper! Oh and if your camper is not a very nice like modern camper, DO NOT COME HERE! The owners (who I think are the real problem forcing those office ladies to do their dirty work) of Mountain View RV Park want only the best, nicest looking campers in the lot! The place is also very like "clicky" to! If you rub some of those old people the wrong way, they can gang up on you! It is kind of like a smalll retirement community. Some keep campers there year round and many live their full time! Also they have REALLY STRICT insurance rules! Like if you do not have a RVIA or NOAA certificate, you can not stay there! Among other rules. Like a quick way to put it is this place is a lot like a HOA with how they want your campsite to look. You better not have 1 unsightly box on your campsite! And that means if ANYONE complains about you, you are the bad guy. Presumed guilty until innocent basically. And the old people there can complain behind your back ans you do not have the ability to face your accuser! Both my neigbbors left about the same time I did. I will say your place obviousyl can not look like trash is everywhere bit that goes for any good campground. This place is the HOA of HOA's when it comes to the RV park version. Hope some local buys it. The owners of that camp ground I think are the real problem. And that janitor needs to be fired! Lol he told me face to face that he was a Marine and was trained to follow orders without question! Lol so guess he has no moral compass. He will mess with your stuff behind your back to run you off. Guess it works. I ended up moving to a campground in Huachuca City. Very nice lady runs that one! Only thing I wish was that the few marijuana smokers that were there were not. Just because I hate the smell of any like tobacco smoke type of scent. There is my whole review. Lol

We spent a week here. Rv site was level. Pull thur was large enough to handle trailer and tow vehicle. Lots of places to walk our dog. Office staff very accommodating. Laundry facilities were good. People were very friendly. Great spot to visit tourist spots. Close to Bisbee and Tombstone.

Hippocritic, had older rv with some damage and they wanted me out, had truck mechanical prob, no compassion, have lots of older damaged cars in park, and dogs bark all the time

Good rates for a comfortable place. Stayed here end of Jan 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #47. General: It's a decent place for a quiet stay. As other reviews mention, mainly long-term folks and all are welcoming. The side street leading to the campground is a bit bumpy with potholes so take it slow and all is well. Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful. Sites: Bare necessities. Primarily nicely compressed gravel with a raised small concrete slab for patio area. Campground Road: Paved. Campground WiFi: Sometimes could connect and do very light work. Unable to connect to VPN for work and unable to stream. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. They were replacing electrical pedestals while we were here so that shows that they intend to continue improving. Bathrooms/Showers: Did not use. Laundry: Did not use. Location: 15 min from Kartchner Caverns, 25 min from Tombstone, 45 min from Bisbee, 35 min from Coronado National Monument. Near highway: Yes. Close to highway (not an interstate though) and light highway noise if that bothers you. Near train: No. Cell using booster: Both AT&T (3 of 4 bars sometimes full bars—4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes full bars—4G) worked well. Worked on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings without problem. Could stream as well.

Nice campground. Laundry room and other facilities were well kept. It had everything we needed. It also has a nice dog park up against the property which made our pups happy. It wasn't that close to Tombstone (about 20 minutes away).

We are here for the winter. Very nice park, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The manager is great, thanks Dory! Full hookups, wifi is not good but we have our own. So many things to see and do in this area of beautiful mountain views.

Residents close to club house are very familiar with one another and keep a skeptical watch on new residence. During our month stay, in site 69, we were accused of breaking into the communal facilities by a fellow resident. A notice of eviction was placed on our front door asking us to vacate the property. Kimberly and I both went to the main office to explained we had not broken into any facilities and the allegation against us were false. The manager, Dorinda, was understanding and apologized for the situation. Dorinda was also extremely kind and respectful and made us feel welcome within the park. However, the skeptical residence surrounding us made us uncomfortable and paranoid. Take care Dorinda gets 5 stars. The residence of the park closest to the office and near site 69 get 0 stars. I’d recommend staying at this park, but reserve spots further away from the office. Best wishes:)

I don’t know what dog there talking about but this is a dog friendly place. Most of these people are here for the season, including me! Love it for the views, the friendships or the quiet but love it you will.

This park is very well organized and very quiet, especially considering how busy it is. The lady in the office was very nice. I was fortunate enough to visit at the same time the Thunderbirds were there, so there were two free air shows daily. I would recommend it and stay again.

I camped out at Mountain View RV Park while in Whetstone on a walk across America. The manager, Sheila, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The grounds were well kept and orderly. The bathrooms and showers were spotless! Possibly the cleanest facilities I have come across on my travels. They even have a really nice clubhouse/community area where other campers congregate and socialize - I felt like family as soon as I walked in. I would highly recommend camping here, whether you are RV or tenting. The rates are great, everything is clean, but the people and atmosphere were what made my stay truly special. Thank you!
