An awesome quaint 20 spot campsite with bathrooms, drinking water, and a garbage dumpster. Some sites with electric and water hookups and all sites with campfire spots. The rivers edge is a mix of sand and rocks to explore with a great swim spot on hot days. It's been one of our family's favorite spots.

Cute little federal campground that's on the river and along a beautiful highway. We've stayed twice in sites 3 and 18, a few years apart. Pictures posted are from site 18 for Labor Day Weekend, 2024. Site 3 has decent shade when we stayed in, I believe, 2022, but site 18 is open to the sun, so it was a touch toasty for our stay. Campsites have heavy-duty picnic tables, fire pits and a level gravel platform for pitching tents. There is no water or power to the sites, but water spigots are around the campground. They have 2 pit toilets and garbage bins. A small, convenient store is just up the road for any last-minute grabs, including ice. Overall, this is a cute, rustic campground in a beautiful setting.

Best campground I've been to. Quiet and cozy, completely surrounded by forest, directly beside a river. You can hear the river rushing from all campsites and each site has a designated area for your tent with level ground. Sites are pretty private. Super friendly host that gave us lighter fluid and kindling for free, and jumpstarted our car. Pet friendly and the bathrooms were decent, non flushing but well kept as far as campsite bathrooms go. Affordable pricing as well. If you want to be surrounded by nature this is the place to go.

this is my absolute favorite campground on the mountain loop. lots of riverside sites, has running potable water and toilets. you have to male your reservation as soon as they open or by day 2 all the weekend spots will be reserved.

Annual guys camping trip right here. After all these years we ran into some Karen's claiming the rope swing belonged to their site only. Well, it's not. Nobody has exclusive reservation rights to any part of the river, if you have any issues, talk to the host at Verlot (site #10) and he will set them straight. These Karen's had the nerve to kick out a group of 15 including many kids. All good though, group of Karen's swam in some downstream urine.

Great spot to camp. The general store 1/4 mile down the road is awesome . Helps in case you forget something.

I like this place because it's quite, clean, it's by the river #13 site is next to the restroom an across the river #14 is by the river and the road is great going there. But this place don't have any showers and electricity hook up. My CAT Battery band died on me after 2 1/2 days and I can't charge my medical device. So you need to make sure that you have a back up Battery so now I got one.

Small campground. Half the sites can hear the highway if you're in a tent. The other half along the river are very nice. Most sites are reasonably secluded. Pit toilets were clean and water available.
