Always a nice campground.

It was a good stay. I stayed in spot 16 and it was spacious!! A little walk from the parking spot to the site but wasn’t too terrible. Loved the location.

Friendly camp host and some sites have easy river access. Not the best sites for hammock camping.

I went to check this campground out yesterday. My dog and I parked and walked into an empty campsite then took the trail from that site towards the river. I was pushing a branch out of my way when I realized it was poison oak. Then I realized that the trail was overgrown with poison oak. I looked around and saw poison oak growing in many places throughout the campsites!!! This campground has a camp host. Why aren't they clearing the trails at least of the poison oak? There wasn't even a posted warning on the drive in. They charge per night here, wow. Camping isn't fun when you get poison oak. I washed myself and my dog from head to toe with dawn dish soap and so far I don't have any symptoms. I won't be staying there ever.

Nice campground, i got there every year with buddies. Nice sites, sound of river at night rushing by.

Beautiful area tucked into the woods. Little too close to a pretty active road but it didn't really take away from the experience too much. Bathrooms were very clean (cleaned on a daily basis) and the campgrounds were very clean! You can walk to the water over a very rocky shore...water is clean but i wouldn't truly plan to dip in or anything.

The road is paved and the sites are well marked. Clean and in the middle of the forest. Bathrooms are present, but they are basically permanent port-o-potties with no paper towels, no soap, no hand-sanitizer,and most importantly, no lights. Hope you like "resting" in the dark. It seemed run down. The lock on the ill-fitting door was broken and the urinal was gone. The river runs by fast, but there's no good places to go down along the edge. Mostly high grass and brambles. Actually, lots of Oregon blackberries. The sites were cleared off, but anywhere off the path was brambly. And no hiking trails were to be found. Not a bad campground. Affordable. The staff was nice.

We stayed in space #7. This is a really nice campground and close in near Estacada for those who don't want to travel too far out. The campsite was a great size large enough for a couple tents. The camp host was very nice. The flushing toilets and running water are a +++ for me. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is that this place isn't small child friendly due to the treacherous rocks you have to maneuver to get to the river, which is very swift. And while we were there there was a fire ban in effect. and whats camping without a campfire... Pros Cons flushing toilets/running water Rocks/ fast moving rapids nice large campsite sticker bushes very overgrown friendly camp host close to the hwy traffic

Very well maintained camp grounds. Our first time camping here and most definitely not the last.
