MT LASSEN - SHINGLETOWN KOA
The natural landscape of this KOA reflects the beautiful geography of the area. This shady, peaceful campground is nestled among cedars, oaks and pines at an elevation of 3,900 feet. Nearby Lassen Volcanic National Park, McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park and Lake Shasta are among the numerous opportunities for sightseeing, hiking, stargazing and photography. Spend the day fishing at Hat Creek or just relax around the campground. Swim in our heated pool, play basketball, beach volleyball, tether ball, or swing on the cool tree swing. Don't miss our new birding area. This campground offers spacious RV sites, featuring back-in and full-hookup Pull-Though sites up to 65 feet. Our deluxe patio sites include a BBQ grill, patio table and chairs. Deluxe Cabins have full kitchen and bath, A/C and heat. Linen is provided for the main bed. Camping Cabins offer A/C and heat and are located near the restrooms. Linens or sleeping bags are available for a rental fee at all cabins upon request. Tent sites are available with or without electricity. All sites have fire pits and picnic tables. Even your dog will enjoy our large K-9 dog area with its obstacle course.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and the facilities are cleaned daily. There are tons of activities for the kids to to do as well as a dog park for the pups. My family and I enjoyed the walking trail with the tree swings the best. When viewing the map online I thought the camp would be bigger but it was slightly smaller than I imagined, although still a decent size. They also offer a military discount which is a huge plus! If you’re looking for a well maintained and quiet place to get away to then look no further, we will definitely be returning in the future.

Lovely KOA with spacious site for 45' rig. Gravel site kept us mud free in a 24 hour rainstorm. Clean bathrooms/showers. Kids loved the tree swings. Gentleman on staff 20+ years was super friendly and helped us park 5th wheel in tricky spot. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The campground has so many amenities, and is very family friendly. The grounds are immaculate and show a great deal of pride of ownership. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The WIFI was surprisingly good considering it is nestled in the tall pines. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay!! I enjoyed everything about this place! Jenel and Doug are super helpful and kind and made the stay even better! Great location for the Lassen Volcanic National Park! As well as a charming place to stay! The lots are a nice size where you don’t feel scrunched in on top of each other, but where you can still enjoy your neighbors if you want. I can’t say enough great things about this place! Go check it out!
