Mueller State Park, Divide, CO: RV Camping Guide

I’ve been here ever since I was 7, and 15 now. This place is such a hidden gem and I’ve even seen a fox one time here and I once saw a bunch of wild turkeys and I’ve seen several forts people have built. It’s a very good state park and I’ve been here over 10 times.

Beautiful park! Lots of trails, 360 degree views of the mountains. Some of the trails aren’t shaded so  go early it got hot!

Beautiful Park. We love coming here. People are usually friendly, it's mostly quiet, the views can't be beat. The sites are nice. They don't have water at the sites, but there is water in the area.

Beautiful park with very nice trails.  I did a 3 mile hike by myself and felt safe. It was a moderate hike with stunning views. There is also very fresh water and restrooms at each trailhead.

Lots of trail options and they were well maintained everywhere we went. The views are fantastic because you're higher than the surrounding area. That does mean a lot of the hikes go down though.

We visited Mueller State Park on a weekday and it turned out to be an amazing experience. We originally planned to go to Pikes Peak, but the road was closed, so we decided to visit this park instead and it was totally worth it. The weather was beautiful and the park was very peaceful. We went hiking, saw a moose, and enjoyed the frozen pond and scenic trails. The highlight was the spectacular sunset, which made the whole place look magical.
The entrance fee is $10, and even though the main entrance was closed, we were able to pay at the visitor center easily. Overall, it was a perfect change of plans and a great place to enjoy nature.

Beautiful State Park that is well cared for. The trail we hiked from the Visitor Center parking lot was well marked. There were two EV chargers in the parking lot. Lots of camp sites, but you must book in advance.

Beautifully kept park.   Staff are helpful at the center.   Enjoyed our walk through the forests.
Beautiful picnic tables, well situated and the bird life is amazing.

One of my favorite places to go any time of year. Been here hiking in all 4 seasons and always love coming here. Go to the visitor's center as they have some cool stuff and it supports the park!

Beautiful campground. Quiet, peaceful, user friendly. Beautiful trails. We had cell service. Wonderful, relaxing experience. Can't wait to come back.

Great state park with amazing trails and views. I wish the place was more dog friendly. It seems odd you can ride a horse on a trail but not walk a dog. This is our favorite CO state park. It is popular do reserve early (6 months in advance for weekends in the summer).

Stopped by for the first time after getting out Keep Colorado Wild Pass. What an awesome state park!! Absolutely gorgeous. The fall colors were starting to pop during our visit. Lots of hiking trails to explore. The visitors center has lots of information about the area, including wildlife, fauna, and geology. Really cool souvenirs too! Don't forget to stamp your Colorado State Parks Passport!

Since my move to Colorado 8 months ago,  I have been to Muller a number and have always found it a beautiful and relaxing place to be. We were there mainly to take pictures of the colorful Aspens in their fall beauty.  It was a wonderful experience which I shall always remember.

Great park!! Awesome park to camp and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The park has a visitor center with information of all wild life in the park that might you see . Colorful Colorado 🤠

The park was extremely quiet, clean, neat, beautiful, plenty of camping spots for trailers or tents or rental of cabins. highly recommended when you just sit/stand there looking out over the valleys say nothing just listen the the beautiful sound of silence. Magnificent,  so quiet it's deafening.

Beautiful state park.  Camp sites are very well done; however, just power.  Gorgeous views and many trails.  Well worth the visit!!!

Nothing on earth like Mueller State Park.  I guess I need to be a deer or fox or bear to live there year round... 😢
