It appears my original review has found its way off the page, so I felt it proper to offer an updated note. What I shared before remains true, however, after visiting with several long-time friends who still reside in the park, I felt it important to add to it. I have been informed that new leadership has stepped in following Mike’s departure, and I must say, the feedback has been remarkably encouraging. From all accounts, the lady now at the helm has already begun implementing thoughtful improvements. Moreover, she is spoken of with genuine admiration — described as warm in demeanor, gracious in her manner, and exceptionally easy to speak with. Those qualities, especially in a community such as this, are both meaningful and rare. After a period of uncertainty, it is heartening to hear a renewed sense of optimism taking shape. With steady hands and the right temperament guiding the way, it seems this park may indeed be headed toward brighter and more promising days. I truly hope that continues to be the case.

We saw some negative reviews but decided to be our own judge. We stayed in cabin F12 and it was just fine! We ate at the marina bar and grill and it was great. If you are looking for the Ritz, move along. But if you are looking for a laidback relaxing place with friendly people, give it a go. Great place, good people! We will be back!

Unbelievably expensive for what it is! And the office staff was beyond rude, unfriendly and completely unhelpful!!! The rv sites are quite small and in very disrepair. The tiny patios are old and in need of replacement. The majority of sites are full time residents with very cluttered sites. Definitely would not recommend thinking about staying here!!!

Very disappointed in this place. This was our first time camping with our brand new RV, and we were so excited for the experience. We set up our campsite and went out to dinner, only to come back around 10 PM and realize our boat was gone. After a moment of panic, we found out that the guests in site D18 had decided their boat was too big and, because there were no other spots available, they took it upon themselves to move our boat. They got on it, untied it without permission, and moved it out into the middle of the water. We believe that if all the spots were marked correctly, both boats probably could have fit behind ours, avoiding this entire issue. We ended up having to stay up until almost 1 o’clock in the morning trying to resolve the issue and finally get our boat back. What should’ve been a relaxing evening turned into a stressful, exhausting nightmare. To make things worse, the guests were extremely rude, disrespectful, and completely obliterated drunk. They got in our faces and acted like we were the problem. We feel like nothing was done to address their behavior, even though they were clearly on someone else’s property and messing with other people’s belongings. That’s not just wrong it’s unsafe and completely unacceptable. What made this even more upsetting is that multiple people, including staff, knew about our boat being left in the middle of the water and made it into a running joke around the campground. When it was brought up, people laughed as if it were some kind of joke, rather than taking it seriously for what it was a complete violation of our property and our trust. We had to go into the bar just to find someone who worked there, and that’s when we found Bubba. He was kind and did his best to help, but the fact that we had to track down an employee in a bar during a serious situation shows how disorganized and poorly managed this place is. We later heard that this is an ongoing problem at this location, with people’s boats being moved or docked without their knowledge. If that’s the case, why weren’t we told this upfront? It’s clear they need a much better system in place to prevent these kinds of incidents. When we left, we were told we’d be getting a call from someone regarding the situation, but we never heard from anyone. We’re just really sad and disappointed. What should have been an amazing and memorable first trip turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially anyone with a boat. At the end of the day, it’s not about how much money someone has it’s about respecting people’s property. You don’t just get on someone’s boat, untie it, throw an anchor out in the middle of the water, and walk away. That’s basic decency, and the fact that this behavior was tolerated if not laughed at makes it even worse.

to begin, KIM at the front desk is very rude and snotty, seriously. and after expressing that to other campers and even other staff- it’s not uncommon. not helpful or polite at all, some education in hospitality is critical. everyone else at the office and store is amazing! speaking of amazing, so is the manager Mike, he really cares about his guests and has a great personality. the bartenders are all kickin it, as well! they’re welcoming, easy to talk to, and all around such a great vibe at the marina. the guests and residents there are all a good time too and everyone feels like family. i saw some reviews about poor wifi or cable, it worked smoothly for us and honestly when you’re camping wifi and TV shouldn’t be so critical. the rest of your staff turned it around completely and was a great stay! definitely recommend to friends and family.

Do not do business with Nature Resort. They charged both my friend’s card and mine without permission and refuse to return our hard earned money. The manager avoids taking responsibility and won’t return a call or address their wrongful actions. Stay away.

DO NOT COME HERE. Total waste of money to stay here, find anywhere else. Might as well park in the city for a similar experience. Barely any trees around, no grass, surrounding water is not swimmable, the place smells bad, area is not very clean, the springs don’t look anything like in the pictures, totally not as advertised. Did not even stay 30 minutes here. I immediately went to the front office to ask for a refund, but they dismissed me. (I decided to leave and find somewhere else MUCH BETTER to stay.) I called three times, each time was told they’d call me back. They are avoiding me now and have no intention refunding me even though I was lied to and misled when reserving.

Nice RV Park but tight spots. Still recovering from last Hurricane, limited bar and food service . Very hard to navigate at night with an RV! Would recommend the spots on the River.

Reserve the First month, then deposit a second month before knowing what was to come. showed up for the first night went to the office told them I was here. I said I would not be staying a second month. I would like my deposit back.. they said oh we’ll put it towards Electric bill. I said no electricity is included. They laughed at me. so I went to park. Holy shit this place do tight no space to breathe. they call it a resort nothing is included no electricity no cable, which is stated on their website, people check this place out before you come or you will regret it. also Wi-Fi if you call it that ,back from day one it hasn’t really worked, in and out.Friday night steak dinner at the bar I ordered medium rare, I got raw steak could not eat. I do not believe the steak was cooked at all.My wife ordered medium. She got well done waitress never came around. Asked us how anything was pretty bad for 50 bucks. Will not be back to this place

I’m giving this mediocre stars because it’s a really nice campground and really nice view of the canal. However I had reserved the tiki Bar in the back of the campground for a celebration of life, I’ve called three times and talked to several different people. Confirming on how many new people will be there and what I can or cannot bring and when I get there, the bartenders had nothing but attitude, and it just talked a bunch of shit about other things and during your presentation The bartenders did not stop talking and someone had to tell them to please be quiet so it just was not the best experience for the day. Update: I did speak to the manager and he was sincere however we did tip the bar tenders generously and they were still rude.

My family and I have visited Nature's Resort on numerous occasions. We have used our tent and also rented chalets and park models.....we were very happy and enjoyed the resort Tremendously.

This was our first time here at Natures RV Resort. We reserved it 4 months prior to our arrival and was told how much it would be for a month and we put our deposit down and confirmed that price. When we got there it was $188 more which they said the rates went up. We never were notified to see if we still wanted stay and we get there and we’re stuck because we had no other place to stay. The office help was rude when I questioned it. The pool was closed for 2 1/2 weeks while we were there. Camp ground was old and very loud on the weekends. There were a lot of people partying on the weekends We personally would never come back here. The pictures on line are not what you see when you get here.

This place could be nice if it was run better. I don't mind the long term residence like others. What I do mind is there are 5mph sign that no one pays attention to not even the staff. Went for a walk and my 4 year old almost got hit twice. After a long day of playing Fragger and trying to not get hit by cars or golf carts you are met with kids driving around with speaker boxes attached to golf carts blaring Eazy-E so loud you can't hold a conversation with someone standing right next to you. When complaining the first night the lady at the office said she told the security guard. The second night I complained to him directly and he said there is nothing he could do until 11pm. What?!? Citrus Co. Law says 10pm and noise should never be over 65db. Oh and he was shocked when I said I complained the night be for. Because he was never told. If you are looking for a place to go and wind down with family and relax you are better off at a truck stop. Don't bother going here!

I reserved this Camp ground for 3 days.. When I arrived I hooked up their main power 50 amp 1st thing and it blew the breaker located at their pole and 3 in my coach. Reset it again and blew the breaker inside and out. I checked everything and my automatic transfer switch Was blown from the power supplied at the park. I had to leave and drive a 100 miles back home . It was going to be in the high eighties for the time I was going to be there and that would have been no fun with no power to run my air conditioner. No transfer switch you can't use their supplied power or my generator. Cost me $500 in repairs. I will not stay there nor recommend it. It's very crowded. The spot was small where my coach hung over a foot and a 1/2 It was so tight I can hear the lady sneeze next to me.

Our cabin was a single wide trailer but it was clean and stocked with all the dishes and linens that we needed. People were so friendly there. The bar serves food on the weekends and it was good. I would stay here again...no problem.
