We checked out several beaches for the perfect place to watch the sunset. New Brighton Beach was nice but we decided to go to moron Beach. A larger and wider beach and felt a little safer and it was a perfect spot to watch sunset with a warm drink..

We visited this campground for the first time in our camper van. We were fortunate to book two consecutive nights on the spot. The campground and bathrooms were clean with supplied toilet paper, but bring your own soap. There are two paths leading to the beach from the campground. Dogs on a leash are permitted on both the campground and the beach. Very quiet at night, but in the morning you can hear some traffic in the distance. Grocery shopping and restaurants are a few miles away.

Gorgeous views of the oceanfront, ample parking, but no beach to speak of at high tide. Stormy weather yielded some amazing waves to watch. We had a quick stop here for lunch and sat atop some rocks. Nice paved path for a short walk. Didn't explore the upper trail.

What an amazing Campground, we arrived around 6pm, we didn't have a reservation, you can camp for a day of whatever days you want. The Campground is well kept,bathrooms are clean and fully packed with toilet paper, warm water to shower and what i loved the most is that i could wash my dishes with warm water, haha the was super awesome 😄 Has beautiful views to the ocean.😍

Nice campground with decent sized campsites. On the bluff overlooking the bay. Good views. Easy downhill access to beach or you can drive to a closer lot. Fairly small beach between the cliff face to the west and development to the east. Had nice sunsets.

this is a beautiful Beach located in mid county. it is a state park and requires an entrance fee. however, there are trails leading to the beach. it's a nice walk at low tide to capitola village and you can also walk south to Rio del Mar

Beautiful beach for spending one of the summer days. The beach is clean. Be aware of the water level at high tide when setting up the mat or beach tent. The beach offers a long walk and at least one hike nearby. The public toilets were well maintained. There is an entry and parking fee of $10. It has parking space for about 40 cars. In case, the parking is full, you may try the adjacent beaches.

Nice beach. Saw whales, seals, pelicans, sea gulls, and crabs. Nice sand and dogs allowed on leash. If you bring a cooler with wheels or a wagon, a ramp to the beach is at the far end of the beach by the bathrooms. Nice family friendly spot.

It was a great experience camping at New Brighton State Beach. The campsite was quiet, clean, and well-maintained. The beach was just a short walk away, and the faucet even had hot water, which was a nice surprise. Both my baby and my dog had a wonderful time. A perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway!

Honestly I don't want to tell anybody about this place because it's totally awesome it's absolutely stunningly beautiful and such a diamond in the rough so now that I'm posting this everybody and their brother are going to show up and I'll never be able to get a spot again I loved you you are my friend New Brighton Beach not anymore I've just left a cat out of the bag this place is quiet this place is awesome this place is so green and awesome and beautiful and the waves crashing put you right to sleep it's a no-brainer

Great little campsite right on the ocean. They have showers and bathrooms, rv spots and tent spots and they are large areas.

A great and well-kept campground. Very nice staff and great sunsets. The best thing to do is sit by the fire and grill marshmallows. ;-)
