This is a very nice KOA, the sites (concrete) and staff (outstanding). It is a lot better than what we expected. Really nice laundry building with good machines. The General store has all the necessities as well as very reasonably priced gifts. Those who get anxious over backing up your rig, no need to worry. Staff members are pro and will talk you into perfectly positioning your rig on your spot. Thanks to all the staff, we just spent an excellent week.

This KOA is so friendly and helpful . I have an issue with my RV water heater. The team here went above and beyond to help me try to get my unit fix they are some really good people. I would recommend staying here . Big shout out to Dave for all his help in trying to fix the issue and also to Matt for being right there to help if needed. Any business would be lucky to have these guys on their work force. Everyone here has been so friendly and hopeful

I've used most of the RV parks (including state parks) in the greater NOLA area. Overall I'd say this KOA is the most convenient and affordable place to stay. Granted, the sites are rather close and the facilities small (my previous KOA stay was in the massive San Antonio Kampground) but it gets the job done. Staff is friendly and helpful and the hookups (including cable) work fine. Traffic on River Road can be heavy during commuting hours but otherwise fine, particularly for getting uptown (Audubon Park, etc.). The trail on the levee is a nice perk. Chad who is on staff here also does a GREAT job detailing RVs on-site. Very thorough - my class C looked great! He can be reached through the front office.

This KOA exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and well maintained. The site was on a level concrete pad and the hookups were in good condition. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and it was great not only having the $15 pp round trip shuttle to the French Quarter (about 1/2 the price of an Uber) but we also really appreciated Dave's tip about the free parking/street car option as well (which we took advantage of and found easy). The laundry room was nicely done (it looks like a little cottage) and the updated washers/dryers were terrific (they still need to update the older ones) and reasonably priced. The bathhouse was clean. We got in late one night and were pleasantly surprised to see the entrance coned off with a live security person there to ensure we were supposed to enter. Overall, you can tell the owners of this place really care about the facility and customer service. We will definitely come back if we visit New Orleans again.

This is one of the nicest KOA Holiday's that we have stayed at as far as sites (concrete) and staff (outstanding). Really nice laundry building with good machines. The General store has all the necessities as well as very reasonably priced gifts. Those who get anxious over backing up your rig, no need to worry. Staff member Dave is a pro and will talk you into perfectly positioning your rig on your spot. The campground is an easy, stress free, 20 minute drive to the French Quarter. Like everywhere in New Orleans, and urban camping in general, it is noisy. With the civilian airport, military airfield, early evening trains, it can be noisy everywhere in NOLA. We will stay here again. Photos are from historic record snowfall 1/21/25
