This is a very nice KOA, the sites (concrete) and staff (outstanding). It is a lot better than what we expected. Really nice laundry building with good machines. The General store has all the necessities as well as very reasonably priced gifts. Those who get anxious over backing up your rig, no need to worry. Staff members are pro and will talk you into perfectly positioning your rig on your spot. Thanks to all the staff, we just spent an excellent week.

This KOA is so friendly and helpful . I have an issue with my RV water heater. The team here went above and beyond to help me try to get my unit fix they are some really good people. I would recommend staying here . Big shout out to Dave for all his help in trying to fix the issue and also to Matt for being right there to help if needed. Any business would be lucky to have these guys on their work force. Everyone here has been so friendly and hopeful

I've used most of the RV parks (including state parks) in the greater NOLA area. Overall I'd say this KOA is the most convenient and affordable place to stay. Granted, the sites are rather close and the facilities small (my previous KOA stay was in the massive San Antonio Kampground) but it gets the job done. Staff is friendly and helpful and the hookups (including cable) work fine. Traffic on River Road can be heavy during commuting hours but otherwise fine, particularly for getting uptown (Audubon Park, etc.). The trail on the levee is a nice perk. Chad who is on staff here also does a GREAT job detailing RVs on-site. Very thorough - my class C looked great! He can be reached through the front office.

This KOA exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and well maintained. The site was on a level concrete pad and the hookups were in good condition. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and it was great not only having the $15 pp round trip shuttle to the French Quarter (about 1/2 the price of an Uber) but we also really appreciated Dave's tip about the free parking/street car option as well (which we took advantage of and found easy). The laundry room was nicely done (it looks like a little cottage) and the updated washers/dryers were terrific (they still need to update the older ones) and reasonably priced. The bathhouse was clean. We got in late one night and were pleasantly surprised to see the entrance coned off with a live security person there to ensure we were supposed to enter. Overall, you can tell the owners of this place really care about the facility and customer service. We will definitely come back if we visit New Orleans again.

This is one of the nicest KOA Holiday's that we have stayed at as far as sites (concrete) and staff (outstanding). Really nice laundry building with good machines. The General store has all the necessities as well as very reasonably priced gifts. Those who get anxious over backing up your rig, no need to worry. Staff member Dave is a pro and will talk you into perfectly positioning your rig on your spot. The campground is an easy, stress free, 20 minute drive to the French Quarter. Like everywhere in New Orleans, and urban camping in general, it is noisy. With the civilian airport, military airfield, early evening trains, it can be noisy everywhere in NOLA. We will stay here again. Photos are from historic record snowfall 1/21/25

This KOA - is unsurpassed. They staff is friendly.. the units are all back in.. but they helers have it "down pack". It was fun to learn they where from our home state. Make sure you follow their directions in getting there on their KOA site. Louisiana roads. Horrible.

On the plus side, bath house is immaculate, and staff is super responsive to any request for assist. However $60/nite is tooo much for a tiny spot where I could hear everything going on in the van next door and bright lights made restful sleep a challenge.

This place was really nice and have a very helpful staff except one staff person who seem like she was not having a nice day. My wife talked too this person on the phone about splitting the cost three ways before we got there and she said that would be fine, so we get there, now all of a sudden it's a pain to do. My point is. You are in a business that take payments. You have three couples who are more than wheeling to pay there share. For the sake of a argument, my wife paid the whole thing. If a task was too difficult for you. Maybe you should get someone else to do it.

Great place to stay! The grounds are neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ll stay there again for sure. You may see reviews about the neighborhood location. It’s “in town” but is fine, and you can’t tell while your in the park. The shuttle service is supposed to be running soon. We drove (our dually truck) to the parking lot at the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour/city transportation (I highly suggest it for getting around town all day), basically at the French Quarter. Use Williams Blvd from I10 to get to the campground (most room/height for pulling our 40’ 5er).

We stayed for 13 days at the New Orleans KOA. Upon arrival the front desk was very friendly and Greg helped us back into our spot within minutes! We usually don’t need help but Greg was so helpful and efficient. He also took time to talk us through the map of fun things to do in town, where to park, where to stay away from, etc. The neighborhood isn’t the greatest but you can’t even tell once you’re in the park. Someone is doing security all night long throughout the park which was nice. Overall good price, nice laundry room and was close to all the things we wanted to do!
