We stayed in a deluxe cabin for a couple of nights for a comic con. The cabin was set in the shade of live oaks with privacy fence around a beautiful patio area. The cabin, campground, and laundry facility were perfectly clean and very well maintained. The pool area and playground looked great. Staff was friendly. It was nice that they have nighttime security. Camp store had lots of cool souvenir options. Short drive to the downtown convention center. Highly recommend if you want to stay in a nice clean area outside of downtown.

What a wonderful stay! Beautiful, spacious sites, great camp store, pristine pool and covered patio situated next to the pond. This place is a gem, the owners are so friendly and accommodating, even though we didn’t need a thing! They have a great dog park, and plenty of places to walk your dog (just be alligator aware😉 near the water) They are building this campground up, and they’re off to a great start! Will be back for sure!

We stayed here while building our home nearby. This allowed us a unique experience as most people are only in for a couple of nights here and there. Because we stayed here long-term, we really got to see the exceptional staff in so many more ways than someone staying for a few nights would see. The staff at this KOA are beyond exceptional. Every single one of them genuinely cares about every guest and their experience. The owners, Mike and Deborah, are just phenomenal. Two really great people who have a passion for what they do. I truly believe that it is their goal to make sure every person who stays here has a unique special experience, and they do just that. Everyone here goes above and beyond for the guests, and it really is a pleasure to have such an amazing staff. Although it was hard for us to stay in our camper while building, they made it so much easier with their friendly welcome service. There’s also a pool, a playground, recreational room, a convenience, store with food and drink and some great local swag. There’s also laundry on site. What more could you need?

Fabulous place to stay, we just extended our reservation because it’s so pleasant here. They’re always a staff member in eye sight, they’re constantly cleaning or maintaining the grounds, treating ant piles, tidying, and offering a hand with whatever you may need. We stayed at a ‘fancier’ local rv park for a while and they were significantly more expensive and offered less amenities. This place has everything you could need, and smiling faces all around. From the phone call making the reservation to the local recommendations the staff is more than happy to provide, every interaction has been beyond friendly and accommodating.

We last minute stayed in the cabin here and had a great experience. Very clean. Awesome staff. Had every utensil you could need, but you cannot cook in the rooms. Had a grill and fireplace outside. Feels very secluded in the back with the fence around the site, which is nice. Had a broom and swifter just incase in the kitchen. You could adjust the temperature in the bedroom and living room separately. There is a pool on the property but we didn’t check it out. There is a shuttle/tour they take you on at 10:30 am from the main office if you want to go to downtown NOLA that will pick you back up at 5:30 pm as well. You drop the keys right outside of the room on your way out. Overall awesome experience. 10/10 recommend.

I've stayed in many KOA's, they're usually very cramped and I only stay at one when there isn'tan alternative. This KOA is outside of New Orleans. The campground is not very big, but it didn't have a cramped feel to it. The sites aren't huge, but they are all well maintained. The laundry facilities were spotless. They have a shuttle to New Orleans that is reasonably priced. The shuttle drivers gave an abundance of local information on each trip. There is also a dog walker available for a fair fee to check on your pups while you visit New Orleans. The owners were super nice! One of the owners made suggestions for our visit and even ordered tickets for local attractions. All KOA'S should be managed as well as this location.

Hello, we stood here for our trip to New Orleans we stood here for 2 nights we settled in quick and were greeted kindly by Michelle at the front desk. She immediately adjusted our reservation because we are in a rental and she saved us a little cash which was very kind of her. After getting checked in they drove us to our site and helped us back in to our spot and showed us the connections. At night you need a pass to come into the park that you get at check in and there is a groundskeeper there all night named Jeff. He is welcoming and kind and it’s comfortable knowing someone is watching out for the park while we rest at night. We used the showers and the restrooms which were both so clean! We used the swimming pool and playground ground for our toddler and those were both clean and well kept with great hours closing at 10pm! We will gladly be returning and we are excited to make KOA our traveling companion and will be looking forward to seeing other locations. THANK YOU KOA NOLA ❤️

My husband and I are staying here. He is working at the Shell Norco refinery nearby. I wanted someplace that had a swimming pool and was walkable to grocery stores and I could also ride my bike. This place was perfect for all. The people in the office were incredible to work with. The Mississippi river Trail is right across the road where I could bike or walk for miles. grocery stores nearby and a very nice swimming pool. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate and laundry room was very nice. It also was very safe. It was completely surrounded by a fence and they have someone sitting at the front gate all night long! I would definitely stay here again if in the area!! It is a bit pricey, but for this area, there are no other RV parks Near the refineries with a swimming Pool or walking distance to any stores.

This is a very nice KOA, the sites (concrete) and staff (outstanding). It is a lot better than what we expected. Really nice laundry building with good machines. The General store has all the necessities as well as very reasonably priced gifts. Those who get anxious over backing up your rig, no need to worry. Staff members are pro and will talk you into perfectly positioning your rig on your spot. Thanks to all the staff, we just spent an excellent week.

This KOA is so friendly and helpful . I have an issue with my RV water heater. The team here went above and beyond to help me try to get my unit fix they are some really good people. I would recommend staying here . Big shout out to Dave for all his help in trying to fix the issue and also to Matt for being right there to help if needed. Any business would be lucky to have these guys on their work force. Everyone here has been so friendly and hopeful

I've used most of the RV parks (including state parks) in the greater NOLA area. Overall I'd say this KOA is the most convenient and affordable place to stay. Granted, the sites are rather close and the facilities small (my previous KOA stay was in the massive San Antonio Kampground) but it gets the job done. Staff is friendly and helpful and the hookups (including cable) work fine. Traffic on River Road can be heavy during commuting hours but otherwise fine, particularly for getting uptown (Audubon Park, etc.). The trail on the levee is a nice perk. Chad who is on staff here also does a GREAT job detailing RVs on-site. Very thorough - my class C looked great! He can be reached through the front office.

This KOA exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and well maintained. The site was on a level concrete pad and the hookups were in good condition. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and it was great not only having the $15 pp round trip shuttle to the French Quarter (about 1/2 the price of an Uber) but we also really appreciated Dave's tip about the free parking/street car option as well (which we took advantage of and found easy). The laundry room was nicely done (it looks like a little cottage) and the updated washers/dryers were terrific (they still need to update the older ones) and reasonably priced. The bathhouse was clean. We got in late one night and were pleasantly surprised to see the entrance coned off with a live security person there to ensure we were supposed to enter. Overall, you can tell the owners of this place really care about the facility and customer service. We will definitely come back if we visit New Orleans again.

This is one of the nicest KOA Holiday's that we have stayed at as far as sites (concrete) and staff (outstanding). Really nice laundry building with good machines. The General store has all the necessities as well as very reasonably priced gifts. Those who get anxious over backing up your rig, no need to worry. Staff member Dave is a pro and will talk you into perfectly positioning your rig on your spot. The campground is an easy, stress free, 20 minute drive to the French Quarter. Like everywhere in New Orleans, and urban camping in general, it is noisy. With the civilian airport, military airfield, early evening trains, it can be noisy everywhere in NOLA. We will stay here again. Photos are from historic record snowfall 1/21/25

This KOA - is unsurpassed. They staff is friendly.. the units are all back in.. but they helers have it "down pack". It was fun to learn they where from our home state. Make sure you follow their directions in getting there on their KOA site. Louisiana roads. Horrible.

On the plus side, bath house is immaculate, and staff is super responsive to any request for assist. However $60/nite is tooo much for a tiny spot where I could hear everything going on in the van next door and bright lights made restful sleep a challenge.
