Camp hosts were very nice and are the main reason I give it 5 stars. Not really what I was looking for but I enjoyed my stay. Quiet, clean facilities. Not easy to launch a kayak from camp but you can load and use the boat ramp. Dark skies are not possible from camp due to the marina lights. Prefect for RVs but not many trees if you are a hammock sleeper. Luckily I always travel with a small tent. I probably will not visit again but would recommend if you are looking for a lake view site with easy RV parking.

Cranfield has some of the best lake views and a good place to launch your boat. Sometimes hard to get a spot as good places can be crowded.

Excellent. The stay here was quiet and peaceful. The park ranger was polite and nice. Thank you. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay again.

As of 4-20-2025 this is closed due to flooding, hopefully it gets back to normal soon....

So good we came back, from London ON to Moab UT we had to stay again on the way home will definitely return on our next trip

Flat out the best campground I have been to in ages. very clean and tidy. I never saw an employee but it was great. I wish I could have stayed longer. Next time I come back around I am staying here!

The camp caretakers are super nice! Beautiful area.... dealing with park reservations online was a pain, as any .gov site is. Major storms just passed, so the lake looks muddy but is usually gorgeous!

One of the best. Water and Electric at your site. Level pads and lots of room to walk. Good price also.

We love cranfield campground. The hosts this year are very friendly. Will raise to 5 stars when they decide to put in at least some sites with sewer.

Well laid out campground with 69 campsites suitable for either tents or trailers and a smaller separate area designated for tents only. Some of the amenities include shower house,, swim area, 2 playgrounds and 2 boat launching sites. There are also two large pavilions that can be reserved for gatherings such as family reunions, classroom picnics, kids birthday parties, or any other celebration suitable for outdoors.
