Loved this campground. We had a beautiful fairly level river side site but all are nice with most having at least some shade. Bathrooms were very clean. The fish hatchery across the road was an interesting visit. We had a neighbor who had an apparent black tank leak that caused a nasty smell and flies. Office dealt with it right away. Groceries, laundromat, and restaurants less than 20 minutes away.

We fished here at the boat launch area. Great fishing area. The campground is okay... a lot of the camping spots do not have very good shade.

I absolutely loved this place, the water flowing, and people out fishing for trout, it was beautiful and peaceful. I recommend it to anyone traveling that way.

We stayed in site #66 for four nights in mid-May 2025. No shade as listed in the site description, but our biggest concern was the lack of maintaining the campground due to government cutbacks. The grass had not been cut and our campsite had litter in the firepit. We have been staying here for over twelve years and the condition of the park during this stay was depressing.

We did enjoy our stay here. The bathrooms could have been cleaner during our stay, but the host was helpful.

Decent campground with excellent trout fishing! The campground layout was kinda weird and the dump station was in an odd spot. However, we had a nice river front site that we really enjoyed. Lots of nice people in the campground and on the river. Will be back!

Just drove through after a fishing trip at genes so judge my review based on that, but seems like a well-maintained campground. It has a playground for kids, restrooms and showers, and easy access to the river to do some fishing. I saw many people wade out into the river from this site while fishing at Gene's. If I visit here again I may consider just camping out.

We arrived on Saturday evening & leaving Saturday morning. Beautiful views of Norfork river & Dry Run creek. Last couple days has been in the 90° during day however it feels cooler because of breeze off the river hitting you. Will definitely be back. It’s hard to book, so don’t wait and book a year in advance. Bathroom are clean and cooled. The fish hatchery is just across the road. There is a swim area up by the damn on lake side.

I just love Quarry Dam.The staff is super friendly and very helpful and the park is just wonderful. Very clean. Has the cool river right beside it. It has small hiking trails to take a walk down by the river. It’s located right beside the fish hatchery. We just love it and have stayed at many campsites around Mountain Home ans we love Quarry Dam the most.

I love coming here! The park is clean and well kept. Bathrooms are always nice. Camping spots are large so you have your own space. Love being close to the river. Great for all ages. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is they need to make pet owners pick up dog droppings. It’s sad to watch kids and families play and then hear them yell because they stepped in dog #^^#}#.
