We always have  a great stay at Norfork Dam Quarry Campground! It’s a clean, quiet, and family-friendly campground. The bathrooms were always clean, and we felt safe the entire time we were there. One of the best parts was having plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes and scooters without worrying about traffic. The campground is well maintained, and the beautiful scenery around the river and dam makes it an even better place to relax. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, peaceful campground for the whole family! (recreation.gov￼)

The look of the campsite was nice but the map was very deceiving. We stayed on site 31 and it shared a spot with 32. The map made it appear that there was no sharing. The bathrooms close to us also were out of order and according to the guy in check in building will likely never work again. Something to do with the city. So that would have been nice to know. They shouldn’t advertise bathrooms if they don’t function and have no plan to ever make them functional. You think you’re getting a spot close to one only to learn you’re about a half mile away from the next closest one. It’s also worth noting that the only functional bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They’re cleaned once a day, from what we saw around 8am but since they’re the only ones that work they get trashed and destroyed fast.

The drive over the dam then below the dam was amazing. What a way to enter the campground. Great hosts. Easy to find and back into sites. 54 is water front all are paved and level. Clean bathrooms. Had a great two night stay.

Loved this campground.  We had a beautiful fairly level river side site but all are nice with most having at least some shade.  Bathrooms were very clean.  The fish hatchery across the road was an interesting visit.  We had a neighbor who had an apparent black tank leak that caused a nasty smell and flies.  Office dealt with it right away.  Groceries, laundromat, and restaurants less than 20 minutes away.

We fished here at the boat launch area. Great fishing area. The campground is okay... a lot of the camping spots do not have very good shade.

I absolutely loved this place, the water flowing, and people out fishing for trout, it was beautiful and peaceful. I recommend it to anyone traveling that way.

We stayed in site #66 for four nights in mid-May 2025.  No shade as listed in the site description, but our biggest concern was the lack of maintaining the campground due to government cutbacks. The grass had not been cut and our campsite had litter in the firepit. We have been staying here for over twelve years and the condition of the park during this stay was depressing.

We did enjoy our stay here. The bathrooms could have been cleaner during our stay, but the host was helpful.

Decent campground with excellent trout fishing! The campground layout was kinda weird and the dump station was in an odd spot. However, we had a nice river front site that we really enjoyed. Lots of nice people in the campground and on the river. Will be back!

I love coming here! The park is clean and well kept. Bathrooms are always nice. Camping spots are large so you have your own space. Love being close to the river. Great for all ages. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is they need to make pet owners pick up dog droppings. It’s sad to watch kids and families play and then hear them yell because they stepped in dog #^^#}#.
