Stayed overnight in my tent after camping in more remote areas. Was disappointed at the services provided in light of the cost. ($60+ for a tent site) One bathhouse (okay) then porta potties placed throughout the campground (not great, but oh well). The showers are token operated (short duration for each token). The topper for me was the bathroom sinks. They are on sensors that allow about 10-15 seconds of water before shutting off the flow for about 20+ seconds. Shaving had me working between three sinks-silly!

It appears that the metal fire rings are moved around such that ash from where it use to be was under the picnic table in two locations. Yuk.

We had a wonderful stay. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, and the store was very accommodating. The small library had a great selection of books for kids. The location is fantastic, situated near a lake where they offer kayak rentals complete with life jackets.

The LONG walk back from the shower to my campsite, over a \_\_\_\_\_ mile away in the pitch dark, totally soured my stay. It was CLEARLY designed to itterate between campgrounds, not for guests to use easily. The spots themselves were fine, level gravel pads with good fire rings and a picnic table, but the constant noise from the highway was NOT mentioned on thier booking site. The camp hosts were friendly enough when I checked in, but i'd think twice before hauling a trailer there again.

We used to come here quite a bit but no more.  Went to book a site this year and can't believe how expensive the sites are.  $55.00 for a tent site!  By the time you are done with fees one night of tent camping is over $78.00.

Really nice place, really nice people. The shop being pretty well stocked is also very nice. The outhouse bathrooms are clean and do not smell.

The only draw back is your proximity to your neighbors, a lot of the spots are like you might as well be camping together. Choose your spot well.

I am already planning another trip next year and have spots picked out.

Great campground to get away for the weekend. It’s clean and nicely sit around the lake. The swimming is OK, however, a little muddy. There is a small town nearby that it looks like it’s building back from a previous fire. Nice surroundings.

We love Northshore Campground. It’s clean, right on the water, and quiet times are observed. There are usually a lot of families/on weekends but a great little getaway if you want to relax.  We always bring our RV so have not stayed in a cabin.

Came for my brothers birthday. Staff is amazing, Peggie and Monica and her husband Todd were all so helpful and sweet! Clean, beautiful campsites. Clean bathrooms, quiet respectful neighbors. Adorable library stocked, laundry on site, Rented kayaks and took my son out on the lake. We will definitely come back next year! To those concerned about political views and flags posted, they are purely supporting America and do not impose any political views upon guests. We have had a lovely time and highly recommended :)

We had a beautiful one nite stay while passing thru in our van.  Check in was easy with an efficient and friendly young woman. Our site had a water view and was great! Restrooms clean, showers hot. Nice little camp store in the office. Its a lovely place and next time we will stay a few days. The lake location is beautiful! Its peaceful, guests are well behaved, and an overall enjoyable campground.

We enjoyed our stay there. The staff were great, the store and library were useful and the location is awesome. Sure there was some construction on the highway and we had some “brown outs” but all the negatives were not in control of the camp. All the restrooms were clean. We liked it so much we’re thinking about a seasonal spot next year.

Loved it! Great for kiddos and pet friendly! The lake was pretty low this year, but there was a wonderful amount of wildlife and the grounds were very well kept. Campers were respectful, and we had a great experience. We will be returning💜

Campgrounds near the playground have unobstructed views of the lake.

Nice place, just some bugs by the water, not a big deal. I just wish these fires would end. They took a lot of water out of the lake because of the fires. Water is very warm in the summer. Don't go any other time, it's freezing😂
