If you are paying cash to stay here, don't. We are through a travel program and they put us in a spot only for our program, but it was not taken care of at all. Smelled like sewer 85% of the time. The pipes leak so there was water over our site most of the time. There was a bunch of workers, but i couldn't really tell they did anything. Cobwebs everywhere, even on the chairs they put out for you set on. No pride in what they provide. Shame. Could be a nice place. Oh, forgot. Our electric box didn't work correctly so they ran an extension cord to our site.

I camp here often. I feel very safe when I am here. Campers have been planning and running activities. 2 pools and a beach area help you stay cool. I stayed in my camper, so I can't comment on the cabins.

This KOA was the best we’ve stayed at; it had a huge variety of different activities ex. pools, pet center, boating, swimming, community center filled w/ games, books, air hockey, foot ball, & ping pong, to enjoy & participate in with your family & friends! The spacious cabins were very clean & organized with plenty of kitchen utensils & anything you would need during your time there. The staff was extremely helpful & kind w/ instructions or questions, if needed. The office staff was friendly, polite, helpful w/answering any questions for the campground or the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you All!

This is a really great place if you have kids and/or dogs. There are a lot of fun things to do, 2 pools, lake access, clubhouse, playgrounds, animals to feed, karaoke night, bingo, etc. It has a very casual feel which can be nice and perfect if that’s what you’re going for. I wouldn’t come expecting the most glamorous set up, but that is part of this parks charm. Love the train theme. We have gone twice this summer and both times were a huge hit with my toddler. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the cabins a little (but again, it’s a camp ground not a resort). We were very happy with our stay and will be back again.

This was our first time at this resort. While many of the sites are geared towards smaller rigs the staff was accommodating and got us in a larger site. The whole staff have been very welcoming and the events for Memorial Day weekend were exceptional considering the lack of budget for events. The lake is a beautiful backdrop.
