Northern Nights Campground & RV Park, Glennallen, AK

I stayed in a cabin one night and an RV site another. Both stays were great, as expected. Host was very helpful.

We got a flat on McCarthy Road. We had to be towed to Glen Allen at one in the morning. The camp staff was super helpful in working with the towing company and they also provided us a place to stay at 1 AM. They also provided us with some recommendations while we waited for our car to get repaired. Kayla is super kind and offered to drive us to the grocery store and offered to let us use her grill for cooking. Very thankful!!!

I rented a cabin and found a large amount of mouse droppings in the pull-out bed. It gave me the impression that cabins are not cleaned well or often.

This place saved us when our car broke down near Glennallen! They were super quick to answer our calls and helped us find a place to stay that same night. The pullout couch was pretty dirty so we weren’t able to stay on that bed, but overall our experience here was great and the customer service was awesome!

This dirty little campground was the biggest disappointment on a 10,000 mile road trip. Bathroom shower, only one in service backed up drain sludge on our feet and was full of hair and snot wiped on the walls. The Laundry room was full of what looked to be the owners random junk drawer, 2 washers and dryers stuffed in a closet no folding area or room to even turn around. The whole property seemed pieced together with random leftover building supplies. It gave us just a creepy feeling. The host was fine gave us restaurant info etc. if we had done a little more research there was a state campground at the next intersection and down the road. Or a random parking lot would have done the job. We paid 35$ for a dry camp spot no power. The prices were not posted on line. I think Good Sam Club better check this place… it should not carry their rating.

Lady in the office is super nice. For being out in the middle of Nowhere, Alaska, the prices are dirt cheap. The park is kept up tidy and neat and the WIFI is excellent. Was planning on staying one night, changing that to two.

Showers and laundry were gross. Nothing clean about this place. If having someone else’s hair all over the shower doesn’t bother you, then this place may work for you. For an RV site, they charge $60 a night (you can’t find this information anywhere on their website). Had I known how much they charge and how unclean this place was prior to our arrival, I would have found somewhere else that was well-kept for a lesser cost. And by the way, even though we were there in July, the office was closed for the season so good luck if you need anything.

We found ourselves at this RV Park after breaking down on the highway an hour north of Glennallen. The hosts were fantastic at making us feel at home while our truck was getting worked on up the road. Showers and toilets were clean and accessible. Each site had a good table and a firepit. Our spot even had a dart board. Easy walk to the Visitors Center and several restaurants. Can't thank y'all enough for the hospitality and look forward to visiting again under better circumstances!

I've given them a 2 because they are in a good location, but travel a few more miles and go to a different campground. The showers have no water presser and are dirty. Only one dump station for the whole park. Sites are hard to get into,

Only few sites have full hook ups. Some sites are very much not level. Showers and restrooms are filthy and the water pressure is very low. They only have one dump station considering 90% of their sites have no sewer, it will take you ages to dump your tanks. We waited for 30-40 mins at the dump station. Convenient location though

Great little spot, a little tight for some larger trailers but the pull through sites made it easier.

Very nice cabins. Very clean and quiet area. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice hosts, you have full service at your fingertips

Stayed in one of their cabins... Better than most hotels. The love and care put into this place is evident. Will stay here again!
