Right off I-65, exit 354 in Athens, Al. Easy to get in and out of with a 45 foot fifth wheel & f-450 long bed truck. Nice, clean, felt safe and close to a Walmart & Lowe’s & restaurants. No sweet dump, but not needed for an overnight or 2. Has power and water. I like the pull through sites.

Strike three! Convenient stop but owner makes you feel he’s doing you a favor taking your money. 25% rate hike and that attitude just lost you a return customer. Stayed here about four times in last couple years but no more.

We camped here for the first time on our way back from Florida. It is a simple campground with easy access sites. There were no real amenities, but it was a perfect stopover with nice owners. There were about a dozen people that overnighter there the night we stayed. The only thing I would coach guests on coming from I65 is that the entrance doesn't have a deceleration lane, and traffic moves fairly fast, so use your turn signals soon and begin a long deceleration. Also, because of a deep drainage ditch on either side of the entrance, it would be prudent to take a very wide swing into the entrance. We were driving a 43' Class A towing a Chevy Tahoe, and we made it from the right lane, but not a lot of buffer. About a 5 on the pucker factor scale of 10.
