Pretty awesome place. My son had a great time shooting clays. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The museum was very interesting and the gift shop had a nice collection of souvenirs.

Beautiful location and views. Clean restrooms. It was cool to look out and see the deer wondering around our 5th Wheel. The mosquitoes were the only negative but the OFF kept them away.

We stopped to view the museum. World class gun collection. Outstanding displays! Very friendly and informative staff. Definitely a worthwhile stop south of Raton. We didn’t stay overnight but they said they have nice accommodations.

An incredible facility. Beautiful ranges, a wide variety of lodges and cabins – to include competitor dormitories. The roads and grounds are incredibly clean and well taken care of. I can’t believe I have not been here before to take advantage of the Whittington center. The staff was very polite and helpful.

We read about it being a great place to see birds, animals. We weren't going to target practice as we are traveling on vacation and just happened upon this great looking facility. we didn't know that you had to go inside and fill out computer paperwork first. Not a big deal and I totally get why just wanted to inform other non shooting visitors that you do have to do this.

Customer Service on the telephone is very hard they at times just hang up the phone and never answer it. I assume they could be busy but it happens often. And we'll there probably isn't anything they will do to change it. I assume the people that work there feel like .... we the public can just take it or leave it.... I personally feel it's a bad way to manage such a awesome facility that thousands use each year.

Well worth it for a couple day vacation and training. Tons of lanes and ranges to work with. Legacy cabins are worth it for small to medium groups.

This has been one of “the best discoveries” for my family and myself! The various lodging is terrific and all staff we’ve encountered are both friendly and helpful. The surrounding views and wildlife we’ve observed are always very much enjoyed. Each time we return here, we’ve shared new experiences and created new memories! Love the rv parks on the property as well!

this is our second time RV camping here and we can highly recommend it to anyone - even if you aren't into guns! The RV campground is very nice, quiet and has bathhouse with laundry in the east campground area. The sites are large and mostly level and the area offers opportunity to see a lot of wildlife. We saw elk, deer and pronghorn. The visitor center has a great museum as well!
