They have so many rules and fees for everything that I would not recommend this place at all. They charged me a $10 booking fee, $3 a day for each of my dogs and $25 site lock (which when I booked was the only site left ). They have a very strict time frame to check in and when I got there at the 2 PM check in the office was closed and my papers were in an envelope in a box at the door. I wanted to talk to them about my site because it was so small but there was nobody there at 2 PM on a Friday! They also have a very strict cancelation policy , one in which you have to pay up front the whole amount of your stay. You have to have blocks under your RV’s stabilizing legs. There are a lot more rules, just be aware.

Campsites were great, facilities (bathrooms and showers) were amazing. They felt like hotel standards. Staff was kind, campground was quiet and peaceful. We loved all the beautiful flowers. It was the perfect place to visit all the surrounding sights to see. Thank you for having us. Victoria

A+ campground!! We definitely will be coming back here. Close to the lake, close to boat, jet ski and kayak rentals. Plenty to do on the property from swimming to feeding goats to basketball. Nice little store with your needs. Clean and beautiful laundry and bathrooms. Locked gate. Cabins are super nice and clean too. Very family friendly place. Appreciate the Sunday o servance. Employees are friendly and stay on top of everything. You won't be disappointed here!

We enjoyed staying there very much . it’s very clean and sectioned off for everyone. Plenty of parking if you have guests coming. Not area for children. Everything worked well. Dog park was nice. Id love to see grass or at least the little tree droppings and last years stuff cleaned up off the areas around the campsites. We have a dog and he would lay down and we had to constantly wipe him off. And both fire pits you could use were fenced to the other road instead of being open to both roads so that was a minus. All in all it was nice. We would use them again

The campground is very clean and spacious. I would have given it 5 stars, but I was informed that there was Wi-Fi available on the grounds. Unfortunately, my campsite was out of range, which was inconvenient since my wife works from our camper. I recommend that the establishment consider getting better extenders for the Wi-Fi. Additionally, we found out that the laundry room is closed on Sundays, which we didn’t know until we attempted to do laundry on Sunday evening before leaving Monday morning. Consequently, we were unable to complete our laundry. This is a great spot for kids, and it is dog-friendly (they do charge $3 per dog per day, so keep that in mind). The staff was nice, and there was easy access with enough space for larger RVs and travel trailers. There were also plenty of activities for the kids! If you have the option to choose a campsite, I suggest avoiding those along the roads, as they can be quite noisy at night due to traffic.

Great campground; I love the goats. The paved campsites are nice and well maintained. The camp store is well stocked and has a beautiful cat. The campground is clean and orderly; I would definitely come back.

Great Campground! Our family always has a wonderful time here! We stay in the cabins! Cute and spacious for what they are. I wish they had a small bathroom attached to them but the short walk to the VERY clean public restrooms is only a minor inconvenience. This place is always super clean and you can tell everyone that works there takes pride in their work! The Christian music in the bathrooms is a nice touch :). The pool is great and they have a hot tub. Playground is great, and the goats are fun too! I think the price is worth the amenities that are included, as well as the cleanliness and quiet feel. Be sure to come with wood for a fire! I think the store and wood are a bit overpriced - but then again you are paying for convenience! Overall I would definitely recommend coming here!

We love staying here. It has become tradition for my family of 3. We've stayed here once a year for the last 11 years. This park seems to embrace the concept of constantly striving for a better park experience. Ever year we notice park upgrades, improvements and additions. This campground prides themselves on cleanliness and it shows in the pool, common space, playground, and in the bathrooms/showers stalls. Can't wait to get back next season!

We were lucky to find an open spot for our RV at this resort. The location had clean bathrooms, clean showers, a pool, and so much more. Everything seemed brand new at the resort. The seasonal people, who have been there for years, were friendly and personable. Our dog loved the dog park area, too. The resort has cabins and a new barn that sleeps 18 (it's like a new house inside). The only concern was the tight aisles and spots for our RV. We were lucky to have an empty spot across from us to make it easier to back in. We would stay there again when in Holland!

LEAST FAVORITE campground. We felt super frustrated with the gate system requiring a code to enter and exit glitching and being accused of giving the code out when it didn’t work. Which we did not do. The policies seemed overly restrictive. The music too loud in bathrooms all hours. We DID enjoy the grounds were clean along with the facilities. Just an opinion. No hate intended.

Our favorite camp site to date. From Ohio, we’ve been to several sites in various states and Oak Groves is a diamond in the rough. My children made friends and loved the playground and goats! It was the warmest, cleanest and most inviting place to stay not to mention walkable to the beach and shops. Keep doing what you’re doing because it is appreciated!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Unless you loved the movie Pleasantville and would like to experience that in a campground than this is for you. All of the residences can't wait to say hi, and tell you how happy they are that you are there. Majority of all the "sites" have trailers with manicured lawns, zen gardens, and multiple statues. It felt like a cult complex and they could not wait to convert anyone new. The roads are narrow and flooded when it rains, the sites are INCREDIBLY small, and they do not mention in the video or on their website that they have permanent single wide trailers. I understand that it is a family run "campground" and resort but maybe keep politics out of your advertising? We paid for 3 nights but only stayed for one. We could not wait to leave and unpacked only the necessities the first night so we could leave quickly the next day. When we arrived on site it was around 7:25 pm, well the office closes at 5!!! I hope that you don't have to work because they will not wait for you to arrive. They have envelopes for check in after closing, we did not have one waiting for us! Thank goodness there was a host on site because he was the only "employee" available!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know! Stay clear, stay away!! Unless of course you are looking for a place to retire!

Very clean campground. Very nice and the bathrooms and showers were awesome. The pool and hot tub were nice. Great location and Lake Michigan is so close. We did wish the camp fires were not so close to the next site. I felt like our pit was just blowing right into the camper next to us. There is no alcohol and quiet time by 10:00 but it must not be a hard rule. Unfortunately the people in the cabin next to our camper were up til 3am being extremely noisy and their fire pit was right by our camper so we were forced to listen to them drink and yell all night. Most campgrounds are noisy at night but the people aren’t on top of your bed all night. I think we would just pay for a premium site next time and just not have a fire pit. But I would recommend this campground and it was quiet besides our cabin neighbor.

Amenities were decent but park is way too close to a busy street with significant early morning traffic.
