Oasis RV Resort Amarillo

Convenient RV resort off I-40, but far enough from the interstate to be quiet. The entire RV resort was clean, super flat, with concrete pads and gravel between sites. Pull through sites made for simple in/out for our overnight stay. There is a constant breeze here in the panhandle of Texas.

We stayed at this park for 2 months recently, and it was a good place to park while we were working in the area. The staff was very friendly, and the amenities are top notch. I didn't have any dealings with the "Vickie" lady, but I did overhear her talking to her team members. As a former member of senior management for over 25 years, I would never talk to my team members or customers as I overheard. We'll probably stop again when/if we're in the area.

We used this Park as a stop off between 2 locations. The staff were really friendly and helpful and offered plenty of advice in our ongoing journey. The spots were clean, tidy, spacious with easy access to all your amenities and what caught our attention is how quiet it was. It also offered beautiful sunsets.

Absolutely loved our stay at Amarillo RV Resort! The concrete pads are huge, perfectly level, and incredibly easy to pull into even for big rigs. The location couldn't be more convenient as it’s right off I-40, making it super easy to hop over to the iconic Cadillac Ranch just a few minutes away. It also served as the absolute perfect, comfortable home base for our day trips out to explore Palo Duro Canyon. Beyond the great location, the resort itself is top-notch. The grounds are well-maintained, the bathhouses and laundry facilities are spotless, they accept mail in a dedicated room, and the staff is full of classic Texas hospitality. Highly recommend this spot to anyone passing through or looking for a great stay in the Panhandle!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I want to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. The water was shut off multiple times per week during my stay. Notice was given, but the frequency of outages made it difficult to live comfortably. We were instructed to have packages delivered directly to our lot instead of the office. Even when I clearly included my lot number, some carriers still delivered to the office, which is obviously out of my control, and the office refused the packages. That created unnecessary inconvenience. The biggest issue was billing. I paid rent on the 1st. I was laid off on the 8th and was told rent would be prorated. Instead, I was charged the nightly rate, around $55 per night, which totaled over $400. After everything, I was owed around $100 back, but that amount was applied to an alleged oil spill cleaning fee that I was never shown proof of or given a clear explanation for. I believe in fair billing practices and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Stayed 4 notes and have stayed at this property several times over the years . Day of checkout I ask to stay until 1pm 2 hours over checkout time. Said ok but will charge 10 for past checkout. Had an appointment. Felt that was unrealistic since we stay four notes. Several parks in Amarillo to choose from. I probably overstayed not ask to stay 2 hrs longer and park probably hve never known. Many empty spots. Won't be coming back here. Disappointing.

This RV park is a great place to stay overnight. It’s well-lit, clean, and has decent spacing between RVs. There’s also a dog park and grass in strips. The location is good, and it’s quiet. We arrived after dark and had no trouble finding our space. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sewer hookup far from the water hookup, which can be a problem. The half buried "RV" (nod to the Cadillac Ranch) is pretty cute. Overall, it’s a nice, quiet and safe place to stay overnight.

We were looking for a perfect place to recover from 6 days of dry camping at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. This park turned out to be perfect! Staff was friendly when checking in but did not have any contact with them after that. Although we could see I-40 from the distance in the campground, there wasn't any noise. Park is nice and clean with long level asphalt and concrete pads. Surrounding areas are small rocks. Utilities are placed at the center of the pad giving you an opportunity to park either forward, center or rear of pad. Water pressure was sufficient but tested to be very hard. Glad our water softener is onboard! Easy commute to a plethora of shopping and restaurants. Used our Starlink for internet and Verizon was sufficient for streaming.

We stayed in and RV spot for 2 nights and the place is very nice. Close to alot of attractions. Office/check in was easy. Store had a variety of items. The pool and hot tub were clean and well kept. The grounds were will maintained. Friendly staff. I would recommend this place if you need a place to stay while in Amarillo.

Nice clean RV park. Well lit, clean, lighting at hookups, decent spacing, dog park, grass in strips. Good location and quiet. Few trees, no staff present if you arrive after 3:30 on Sunday. Our sewer hookup was 15 feet from water hookup which was pretty long and would have preferred advance notice so as to request another site. Also didn’t get notice of our site number until a few hours before arrival which was a bit nervewracking. Overall good reliable clean and safe RV overnight along Interstate 40.

Oasis in Amarillo Texas is a beautiful park. Modern park, spacious, great amenities and beautiful layout. Wish we had planned more days to enjoy Oasis. Be sure to put this RV Park in your list of places to stay. Also, Historic Route 66 in downtown Amarillo is a blast.

Clean and spacious campground. People are friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and clubhouse are beautiful. I just wished they opened the pool while we stayed there. Temps outside reached 100 degrees. It would have been nice to cool off in the pool. It will be open after Memorial Day. This is the nicest RV park in Amarillo.

What a great place to lay your head at night. The spots are paved and level, the facilities are nice and clean. They have a game room, pool, and hot tub (was broken when we were there unfortunately). If we're in this area again we will surely try to stay here again.

Always a safe, clean and quiet respite from the road as I travel back and forth Spring and Fall. Late reservations always appreciated and available as I never know how far I will travel or what may come up during a day of travel. Easy on and off I-40. Thank you.
