This place is top-notch. We stayed in site 401 and the neighbors even let me borrow some shampoo. They even have pickleball courts here and lots of stuff for the kids even though we don't have kids. I guess this place changed management but it certainly was an upgrade.

I rented a cabin for 8 nights/9 days. I was able to check in early upon arrival (I flew in from the East Coast). My cabin was perfectly wonderful. It was roomy, had a porch and picnic table. Had heat, AC, fridge, microwave. I needed linens and they provided me with more than enough towels to last the week. The mattress was great and the blanket was awesome. The people who run the park and workers there were friendly and helpful. My location in the park was close to the bathhouse. They were kept clean with the exception of the last 2 days I was there, they were not cleaned. Location to downtown Durango was only 15 minutes away. Close to grocery store and Dollar stores. I want to thank Danielle for the help she provided me with my car issue. I would definitely stay there again. She was great and kind. I would definitely stay there again.

This is an old KOA site, but it is very well maintained. All sites are crushed rock, but all level and compacted. One of the concerns we had was American Brittany REBA would be alone in the trailer while we did the Durango and Silverton railroad. This is our first campsite where they actually offer a dog sitter service who will visit your trailer and take your dog on walks while you’re away. This is an excellent idea, and I would like to see a lot more campsites to do this. Highly rated!

Office people are very nice, grounds are in fair condition, my only and big complaint is the bathrooms are not throughly clean daily, our stay was 7 nights and the same fecal smears were in the toilets, bathroom trash not emptied daily, please clean toilets daily!! Quite unsanitary to keep like that for a whole week. Place toilets brushes in the stalls maybe people will help clean after themselves. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and most likely will be back, hope facilities situation is fixed. Friendly staff (except bathroom cleaning staff not doing their job well).

Overall it was a nice place to camp. We had a spacious full hook ups and the staff was great. No came fires this season that’s fine they have gas fire pits for you to use and they bring them to your campsite. Welcomed us when we pulled in and asked if we needed any help, nope we are pros at set up. Mini golf (would be nice if the leaves were cleaned up from the course), pickle ball court, playground for kids and a dog park. Where it could have been better were the showers, they were not clean, other people’s hair, I hosed down the shower and mat before I used the shower. Now I will give them credit that they added a shower caddy to at least one the showers by the end of the week and the shower heads were nice, the removable hand held kind not something you typically see at a campground.
