Betty was very helpful with making our reservation, appreciate her personal attention. Upon arrival, Greg saw us pull into the parking lot and recognized We were puzzled because the signage said oasis RV park rather than Durango RV resort. Greg was very helpful, gave us very personal attention and escorted us to our campsite. Very happy with our stay And will certainly stay here again if we are passing through Durango.

Website photos are deceiving. Rolled in and we were looking forward to the hot tub. When ask it was well ugh where did you see that? Turns out there wasn't one. Picture shows a small creek, its really a dry irrigation ditch. This is a large RV park and the dumpsters are at the front, nothing anywhere near the sites. If you like truck noise you can hear them all hours hitting their jack brakes. The sites were very tight and on a hill and it took several tries and combinations to get level. Keep in mind this is an upgraded site. The utilities for us except sewer were in our neighbors area down an embankment and next to their picnic table. When we choose a resort like RV park and we reserve an upgraded site we expect a whole lot more than they provided. Will not stay here again or recommend.

I'm really torn on this review. Someone clearly spent bucks trying to make the place nice, and hoped for a premium price in return. But there's just so many details that are wrong that mean we don't plan on coming back. First and foremost, the highway noise from 160 is constant, all night long, Jake brakes going downhill and fully spoolled turbos going uphill. If you're in an RV it's probably fine, but if you're tent camping even earplugs won't cut it. After hours reservation taking service/person was unintelligible and completely unhelpful in terms of telling us what we needed to know. Both the RV and tent sites have duplicate numbers, and there's zero way to know the difference. Soft lighting everywhere to show you the many many many trip hazards (old tree stumps sticking up 3 inches, "scenic rocks", timber landscape borders, etc) they've left around the site. Which is great except for the mega lumen motion sensor light outside of the bathroom that beams you in the face and completely kills your night vision. The prices they're charging alone for a tent site are crazy. But all the noise and missed details just add up to we won't be back again.

I just finished up staying here for a full month. I don’t know if it’s because of new management or lack of caring, the park is not well maintained. The RV spot is very nice, but the park does not clean up sites between visitors. The bathroom and showers were horrible. The showers were not cleaned. I never saw the floor mats lifted up and the shower area cleaned. The same wads of hair, etc. were on the floors and walls for the entire month. The bathrooms were dirty. The same fecal matter stains in the toilets were there for days and days. The sinks and floors were rarely cleaned. The laundry was dirty and half the machines were out of order for the entire month.

The resort had nice sites with good spacing between sites. There were mature trees all around. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was an easy ride to historic Durango.
