Oasis RV Resort & Cottages Gunnison Lakeside

I camped in my camper van 2 nights. Pleasant stay. Friendly host. Good wi-fi. Beautiful views. Quiet at night. I particularly liked the enclosed dog park. Very close to Gunnison/WCU. I would stay again.

I am commenting on the RV sites and the park in general. Been coming to Gunnison for years and always stayed at the parks near town.  However, going forward I will be staying at Oasis. Really great park right across from Blue Mesa. Very long sites to accommodate any kind of rig, laundry and bathroom house on site. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Really enjoyed our stay and the Oasis will be our new “Gunny” campground. Thanks

I arrived after hours, and I was so grateful someone came back to the office to find me a spot for the night :) There’s no cell service in the area, so I was otherwise going to be in a really sticky situation…The shower / laundry facilities were perfect for my needs. I felt safe and my dog had plenty of space / grassy areas to explore :) My only complaint was the WiFi - It was mostly great, but a couple hours before I left, it went down and didn’t come back on until I was gone. Other than that, I had a lovely overnight stay! The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful :)

I tent camped last weekend here. It was a great experience! There were maybe 4 other tent campers, and they spaced us out so that we were not on top of each other. The campsite was great! The bathrooms were clean and close to the tents. The area is beautiful. The campground was so quiet at nighttime!

We had so much fun here! The tent site was perfect for our tiny tear drop camper. The facilities included some showers (pro tip: turn alllll the way to hot to get warm!), laundry (which we did not use), a large community tent with grills and tables, and we rented a propane fire ring. All around we had all of our needs fulfilled but really were blown away when we needed some Tylenol from the shop after they had already closed late at night and the manager picked my husband up from our site in their 4x4 ATV, drove him to the shop, and let him in to buy what we needed! The grounds fall pretty quiet after dark (respectful!) and there is great star gazing.

We were comfortable, felt safe and enjoyed a sense of community while we were visiting.

Great place with full hookups for our travel trailer! This is our second year visiting and we will be back again. Wendy is always so friendly and welcoming. Tracy Ann goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay possible. We came with a group of 15 and they made sure we were all together and happy😁Plus it’s right across from an entrance to Blue Mesa Reservoir with an easy walk down.

I had a great experience here! I moved to the Gunnison Valley for a short term, 2 month contract and stayed in one of the small cabins. The space was exactly what I needed for this time and Wendy, Jamie and the rest of the staff were so helpful! They were very responsive and quick to act if I needed anything, even in evenings and on weekends and it made me feel supported and safe while living by myself! The cabin stayed warm and functional even with the cold spell we had in January and the community and amenities were very nice. The area was very quiet, tucked away, and pretty and I really enjoyed living here. I would come back!!

STORAGE REVIEW

Located just a brief drive west of downtown Gunnison, this charming lakeside resort offers a serene escape. With options for RV accommodations, both covered and uncovered storage, as well as cozy cabins for rent, it’s the perfect spot to relax near the beautiful Blue Mesa Reservoir. The friendly couple managing the resort, who have been there since spring, are incredibly welcoming and dedicated to ensuring you have a wonderful experience from the moment you arrive.

Traveling coast to coast and back again in our newly aquired RV, we booked oasis RV the same day and WOW, what a great place. Wendy and Jamie were friendly and welcoming. The view and area are so relaxing, being so close to the lake. We had an issue with the cable tv reception, and Jamie came right over and showed us the hidden "magic button" that we didn't know about. If you're in the area to fish the lake, they have an impressive variety of tackle, trolling spinners, lures, etc. in the office. Overall, a great stop.

The Oasis is the best kept secret !!!
Jamie, Wendy, Gerry and Becka are the most amazing people you will ever meet.  The events they put on are always so fun. The park is always so well maintained. Jamie and Gerry are always out making improvements.
They all make this place feel like home❤️❤️❤️❤️

This resort had a No fires rule. No fire pits, wood fires or charcoal grills on site? Why bother camping if you have to cook in your RV? Traveled all through Colorado and there are no fire bans so this was a show stopper for us. Left and went somewhere else where camping is allowed and I don’t have to rent a propane fire pit.
