We had a great stay at Sun Outdoors Santa Barbara. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The showers were also very good. Although a couple of hooks in the shower rooms would be helpful. We will be back again.

We love Sun Outdoors, their RV resorts are head and shoulders over the competition. Case in point, we recently stayed in Sun Outdoors Santa Barbara, located in Goleta, and has beautiful ocean views and a fantastic pool, immaculate rest rooms and showers, a great little store, and very friendly staff. There was a heat wave and fierce Santa Ana winds, so PGE shut down power for a full day, which was a little bummer for our Sorinter. But come to find out Sun Outdoors credited everyone’s stay that night… yep, that’s how great they are! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly staff including the front office and maintenance. Beautiful park with plenty to do, always a pleasant stay, we will be back! General Manager was a consistent presence, making sure their special event (concert in the park) was running smoothly. Excellent stay.

We camped for 5 nights with 10 other couples and had a great time! We were able to stay mid week so the campground was fairly quiet until Friday afternoon when all the families with kids/e-bikes & e-scooters started coming. Definitely changed the atmosphere from peaceful to very active but they all were having a fun time. The quiet time doesn’t start until 11pm and it was very active until the camp staff came around and made everyone turn off music and settle their kids down for the night!

The grounds, restrooms & showers are clean & well maintained. Pool was great. Staff was nice & the camp store had good snacks. It is a long walk to the beach & a bit of a drive to get to a store. We did however have a good view of the ocean from close by our campsite. We had fun!

We camped here for two nights in late March. Very few people in the campground. A pretty quiet crowd. The heated pool and hot tub were nice. Everything was extremely well maintained. The front office staff were great, and the coffee at 8 AM was good. You can hear the highway and train, but its not bad at all.

Overall my wife and I were happy here. We do wish the dog park grass was trimmed as there were very tall spots. Also we were very disappointed the pool heater was not on as the pool was pretty much unusable during our stay in early March. Bathrooms and showers were very nice and clean though.

I have spend approx 10 days within 3 separate stays at Goleta location. Service has been nothing but perfect. Place has always been clean. Staff have been respectful and location is lovely. Only reason it gets a 4 start instead of 5 is WiFi is terrible (all 3 stays). They really need to fix it. This last time which was late Feb 2026 it was so bad I couldn’t even google anything. Will change to 5 Star once WiFi is fixed.

This is a nice little RV park with level concrete parking pads. Spaces are fairly close together but nice vegetation exists to separate the spaces. There are a number of tent sites available as well. The location overall is very close to 101 but there are some raised earthen sound barriers that keep the highway sound down pretty effectively. The pool and jacuzzi are nice and all common areas are kept clean.

We are currently at the campground. On our 3 week trip, this is the most expensive campground. When we arrived they told us that the beach was closed because of maintenance. We could go to another beach 3 miles further down the road…. I know that maintenance is necessary but tell me in advance so I can decide if I am willing to go or not., at least put it on your website or whatever so people are informed! The price is too high for that kind of service.

We loved our stay at Sun Outdoors in Santa Barbara! We pulled in late Friday night and people were up, not being loud, but just hanging out and having a good time at their sites. It just felt really nice and chill. Our tent site was up against the meadow and the views were insane. The bathroom facilities were clean and the showers were hot and free! I hate paying good money for a campsite and then having to fork over quarters for a shower as well. Kids had fun and so did the adults! 10/10 would recommend!

Really loved our stay here. Pool and hot tub were great, laundry facilities were clean. Loved being able to walk a path down to the ocean and watch surfers and dolphins. Our site was a little tight for our 34’ fifth wheel and truck but made it work just fine. Beautiful spot!

Beautiful spot to stop for a few nights along the coast. The park is clean and well maintained with a nice pool and other amenities. Cell reception was not great with Verizon, however Sun Outdoors offers WiFi that can be used to make audio and video calls. Be sure to check for special rates, there was a 30% mid-week promotion that saved us some money.

Crowded little campground that falls short on offered amenities. The wifi is terrible. This would be acceptable if the price wasn't so high. For weekend nights, rates are around 200/night for full hookups. Our paved site was not level and there was a constant smell of sewer. The showers are not well maintained either. For the price, I can't help but to expect more. For normal pricing it would be fine. Additionally, the main access road to the beach is under construction. You can still hike or bike there but it may be a consideration and should be disclosed. You can access the sister property next door for a free bike rental. It would have been nice if they had mentioned that.

Such a great camping ground, close to the beach, close to hikes, swimming pool, clean bathrooms and shower. It's perfect for a family getaway!
