We booked last minute as we were unaware of the Ironman competition making our plans to camp at the harbor from happening. We were very pleased with the price Thursday-Sunday and the night time maintenance guy was so helpful with our late check in, he was so kind courteous and helpful. He even helped with the fire pit when we couldn't get the flame to stay. We would definitely stay here again, the kids loved the pool and the gameroom. Our spot directly faced the train, although its loud I feel like we tuned it out after a bit.

I really like this park. Close to things to do and places to eat. Trains didn't bother me a bit. Nice sites and staff. Facilities are in good shape. Most sites look very level but a couple up near the road look off like the one poster commented. I would definitely return. Don't miss a trip to see the sea lions and Frazier Farms is a MUST for groceries! Seriously, don't miss this gem. My e-scooter did get stolen though. In the daytime so I think it was the overnighters who pulled in behind me, not someone who slipped on the gate or climbed the fence. They'd have watched me lock up and go for a walk. Oh well. I don't blame the park or the neighborhood as I walked it many times and felt perfectly safe.

We booked our reservation. We paid for it up front for the entire reservation. A month later this company canceled our reservation. Rebooked for half the time. And refunded less than half the money. Completely canceled the contract on their own to get more money. It is so disappointing. We loved taking our family here.

Both my husband and I agreed that this rv resort is the best “parking lot” rv resort we have stayed at in the country. Spacious sites, privacy fences but they are not claustrophobic, beautiful landscaping, wide roads, easy to navigate, full hookups and safety gates in perfect working order. Easy walk to the beach, downtown, train station etc. Train is close but gets quiet at night. We really enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. Perfect temperatures and very clean.

We’ve been using Thousand Trails as full timers for two months now and this is the best resort we’ve stayed at. It actually feels like a resort. The sites are spacious and have privacy fences, the landscaping is beautiful with palms and flowering bushes, the bathrooms are very nice. Everything looks new and not run down. It’s within walking distance to the beach. I’ve had coffee there every morning. Lots of great restaurants and shops too within walking distance. We are definitely coming back to this location.
