Beautiful park, clean well kept close to restaurant, breweries etc. Short walk to the ocean and pier. The draw back is the lack of overflow parking, the lot they have has broken down RV storage and is dirt. Most people park on the street in front of their RV. We have a 42’ 5th wheel and had a pull thru site but with the truck next to me and in front of me took little time to manage getting hooked up needlessly to say I had to back out of my site.

The Oceanside RV Park Resort is an RV park. We're close together. There are little short wooden fence bits that separate us and there are amenities. There are full hookups. There are pull-through spots. There's laundry. There's a swimming pool and a hot tub. All the things. However, the train that runs every. single. hour. is quite loud. It is but feet from the outer edges and the horn that they blow is jarring. I have had now several times, during my week stay here, that it has awoken me from being asleep. Besides that, great little spot. The people that work here. Great people that darn train though...

We booked last minute as we were unaware of the Ironman competition making our plans to camp at the harbor from happening. We were very pleased with the price Thursday-Sunday and the night time maintenance guy was so helpful with our late check in, he was so kind courteous and helpful. He even helped with the fire pit when we couldn't get the flame to stay. We would definitely stay here again, the kids loved the pool and the gameroom. Our spot directly faced the train, although its loud I feel like we tuned it out after a bit.

I really like this park. Close to things to do and places to eat. Trains didn't bother me a bit. Nice sites and staff. Facilities are in good shape. Most sites look very level but a couple up near the road look off like the one poster commented. I would definitely return. Don't miss a trip to see the sea lions and Frazier Farms is a MUST for groceries! Seriously, don't miss this gem. My e-scooter did get stolen though. In the daytime so I think it was the overnighters who pulled in behind me, not someone who slipped on the gate or climbed the fence. They'd have watched me lock up and go for a walk. Oh well. I don't blame the park or the neighborhood as I walked it many times and felt perfectly safe.

Very nice and well maintained RV park with nice employees. We had our ups and downs being at this RV park. Even tho it was super clean and we felt very safe being at this park, the train ruined our sleep during our stay :( it would wake us up at 5:30am and it ran all the way until past 10:30pm, so as we tried to sleep before 9:30p we couldn’t because of the train. My kids were so exhausted at the end of our stay. Maybe our space was too close to the train. I’m not sure if we will return.

I go to a lot of RV resorts but few come close to the vibes of this place. First, it’s a half mile or less from the beach. Second, the visitor activity is warm and family friendly. Swimming, miniature golf, or just lounging around, there’s no sweeter spot than Oceanside RV resort.

We booked our reservation. We paid for it up front for the entire reservation. A month later this company canceled our reservation. Rebooked for half the time. And refunded less than half the money. Completely canceled the contract on their own to get more money. It is so disappointing. We loved taking our family here.

Both my husband and I agreed that this rv resort is the best “parking lot” rv resort we have stayed at in the country. Spacious sites, privacy fences but they are not claustrophobic, beautiful landscaping, wide roads, easy to navigate, full hookups and safety gates in perfect working order. Easy walk to the beach, downtown, train station etc. Train is close but gets quiet at night. We really enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. Perfect temperatures and very clean.

We’ve been using Thousand Trails as full timers for two months now and this is the best resort we’ve stayed at. It actually feels like a resort. The sites are spacious and have privacy fences, the landscaping is beautiful with palms and flowering bushes, the bathrooms are very nice. Everything looks new and not run down. It’s within walking distance to the beach. I’ve had coffee there every morning. Lots of great restaurants and shops too within walking distance. We are definitely coming back to this location.

The park is exceptionally clean with great amenities. However, our site, #96 was so slanted that we were unable to level up, using everything we had available. It is on nice cement though. There are some level spots in the park and we requested to move since there were many empty spaces, but they weren't available on the days we were there. The park is near the stop light of coast highway, so the traffic noise (drag racing at 2 am) kept us awake. And then there is the train! It stops running at midnight and resumes about 6 am with whistle blaring. It comes by about every thirty minutes. Bring earplugs! The maintenance crew trimmed trees for two days so we also got to hear that early each morning. We had to buy another septic hose because the clean-out is located in the very back of the space, and it's uphill so the flow isn't that great. Come prepared for that! This park was convenient in location for us and we enjoyed the amenities very much.

We stayed there 5 days. Clean bathrooms and showers. Mostly level, wide, and deep paved pads. All around, good. Oh, and the trains go by so often you won't notice.

Disappointed. Paid $129 for a spot that was so slanted we barely were able to level up. Only using all our blocks under our levelers were we able to make it level enough to deploy our slide out. We had no idea when we made the reservation the site would be so angled. Apparently you have to pay for a 'premium ' spot if you want level. Crazy. The water hookup is also strange in that your fresh water hose runs right over the sewer hole. It is hard to describe but almost always fresh water and sewer have some decent separation. Not here. Worse is the train goes RIGHT beside this campground and because there is a huge road intersection it crosses, the train blasts it horn for an extended period when approaching and crossing this intersection. We have been here about an hour and two trains have come through. Not sure about sleep tonight. That train horn is loud and will be even louder in the dead of night. To be fair I will say the park is spotless and our 30 degree slanted parking spot is clean cement. The check-in is a self check in system and when we went back about 3pm on a Wednesday the office was closed. There is a phone number posted and we called it because our original site was even more slanted than this one and it was not possible to level. The man was not sympathetic. They feel you signed up for our cheap $129/night site and this is what you get so live with it. We made these reservations months ago so I cannot remember exactly how the reservation went, but I certainly feel pretty sure that had they mentioned these cheapest sites were not near being level we would have just found another park. We're only here one night, just passing through, but wanted to warn others. Oh God here comes another train, blasting away as it passes right beside us.

This RV park is very clean and well maintained. It is about 4 blocks to the beach. The pads are all concrete which makes setup clean and easy. The RV sites are a little small otherwise it would be a 5 star rating! I will definitely be back!

Recent renovations really show. Excellent new fencing between each site, new landscaping with shrubbery, bathrooms, laundry area, pool area, bbq area, all well done and in excellent conditions. Electrical, water and sewer hook ups are new and easy to use. Only issue is the noise from a commuter train that goes by every 20 minutes and on weekends, the constant traffic nearby, noisy motorcycles and cars. Proximity to the beach, shops and coffee shops couldn’t be better.

I love it here! the grounds are extremely well kept, and the staff is friendly and always on site. You may have to call, but they will accommodate you asap. Yes, there are rules here as to a comment with an unruly group that came in a week ago. But you either follow them or you might get unhappy staff due to you and your attitudes if you bring it. It's an excellent place to come and stay in Oceanside! Everything is nice and just blocks away!
