That guy
We’ve been staying here off and on and the park is beautiful and the staff are friendly. The park, unfortunately, is growing more dangerous. Last week I was delivering to a specific site when their unattended dog aggressively chased me out to where its lead jerked its neck. I reported it to the park and was assured they’d address it. This met my expectations as things come up but addressing safety is important. Luckily I wasn’t a child getting a stray ball or something. Yesterday during my morning walk I passed by this site and found the dog unattended again. It barked as we walked by and the owner yelled at it from inside the camper. I submitted a complaint to the park in writing. This morning I was on my morning walk when sure enough, dog still unattended outside. So please factor this in if you have kids or an expectation that the park will address safety concerns appropriately.

I felt this was a great park until we arrived and packed in here like a sardines. I don't want to look inside my neighbor's RV while I'm eating my dinner. I don't want to walk out and sit near my firepit to be blinded by my other neighbors lights. The rules only apply to short term campers. If you see your neighbors who live here longer they can do what they want and the office does not care. Why put long term near the short terms. I will never understand. They keep all their belongs in the yards and I mean I am looking at dirty underwear handing out on a old tent base. They can threaten people and just have you write a report. I am tired of Thousand Trails and their rules to only apply to short term.

We are 2nd generation campers to this membership with first are full time. So have been staying at this park for a couple decades now. New rules have got over board on restrictions. And giving assigned sites has just taken all of the joy and fun out of going camping there. Especially when there are several different types of sections.

We love the new checkin process. Last time we stayed in 2023 we were told to go find a site. Having never been here and after a 500 mile tow day that was not the welcome we were anticipating. NOW you are assigned a site and if you're balance is paid in full upon arrival you can go to the gate, get your packet and proceed to your site. So much better!! The sites are paved (mostly) and the park is in good working order. They have pools and lots of outdoor activities. The proximity to Disney is great. It lets you get away from the chaos and into a quiet area to rest.

The park is well maintained. Our spot was level and spacious. Most staff were polite. I enjoyed the large, nice, paved roads. The park was very easy to navigate. My kids enjoyed purchasing treats at the store. Walmart delivers, which is always a plus in my book. The pool and showers were very clean.

We have always loved TTO! it is a great park and a great location. However on May 1st they started assigning sites. This is a very diverse park and it will be very tough to get assigned a site in an area that you want. We went with another family couple and our 89 year old Mother. We usually love TTO because we can always find sites next to each other so we can all take care of our mother. However the system assigned us not even close to each other. Telephone calls before our arrival went unanswered and when we arrived we were greatest by exasperated employees in the office. Everyone was trying to rearrange sites. These poor employees tried to help us but we ended up at opposite ends of the street. The site assignments are a terrible idea. We will not be renewing our membership this year as the trails collection (Encore) always puts us in horrible sites even though really nice sites are vacant. Now thousand trails will be doing the same thing.. We were going to talk about upgrading our membership however there is just nothing for us at thousand trails anymore. I'm sorry for the negativity. I really don't like to be negative. This has nothing to do with the employees at the park. It's all about the site assignments and just making it harder on customers.

The kiddos had such fun visiting! The pool area was big and even had a separate area for little ones. Spacious activities all throughout the campground.

The staff here are NOT friendly. It was our first time visiting a Thousand Trails and all the staff were old angry people. None of them were welcoming. It’s sad because I was considering signing up for their membership but if this is how they treat people then I will not. Kindness goes a long way. The facility is okay. I will not be recommending this campsite.

Very friendly and helpful employees. Bo at the front gate went above and beyond to make us feel welcome for our first time at the campground. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Have a few suggestions: Help new comers find open sites on the map and explain different sections of the campground. Upgrade picnic tables on sites that are real bad. Offer adult hot tub time maybe later in the day for ages 16 and older. Advise campers when checking in the day the grass cutting service will be there, so objects can be protected. Beautiful wildlife on the property. So much to see and explore around this location. Would go back if in the area again.

Very large campground, with 3 very distinct sections with a different atmospheres in each. We’ve been here on 3 separate occasions and every interaction I’ve had with staff has been excellent. They have basketball, pool, gym, activity center, propane, pickleball, mini golf, laundry. All the amenities you could think of. Great location as well as you’re about 20 minutes from Disney with all the shopping, food options surrounding it. Only thing to be prepared for is they have a very strict 12pm check in policy. You cannot turn down the entrance road even a few minutes before so try to time your arrival. Since this is such a large campground, expect it to be busy at check in time especially on the weekends. Not a big deal, but just something to be aware of if it’s your first time. Highly recommend this place!!

Nice place It just doesn’t seem worth all the hype. For all of the upgrades it is laid out piecemeal and easy to get lost without a map in hand + for the size park that this is, the one dog park is nothing more than a small fenced in sandbox with no lights or path lighting Some of the sites are pretty run down and unkept (hope you don’t get stuck nest to one as it is first come site policy) Also, don’t forget to bring a fire pit with you, there are none on site

Huge resort. If you enjoy some privacy D is a good section with trees by the lake. If you like new area without trees and big concrete pads they have that. The employees are great. On Thursday and Saturday's they have foods trucks.

What a great place to spend a couple weeks! This is a very large RV resort (over 1,000 spots!) and they run a tight ship, from check-in, to mail service, to events and everything in between. Check-in procedure is fairly rigid, so don't even try to show up before noon, as you will be turned away. The amenities are some of the best we've seen: 10 Pickleball courts, 8 (I think) shuffleboard courts, putt-putt, two large swimming pools, boat/kayak rental, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, community fire pits and more. Indoor recreation (pool tables, board games, books/videos, etc.) Planned events for the holidays. Food trucks and farmers market vendors. Laundry facilities are clean, but only take tokens. Small machines (household size) so we opted to visit a nearby laundromat. Convenient location, close to Disney parks and Universal. (From the lower section, near the lake you can see nightly fireworks from Disney) Lots of restaurants, shopping and conveniences. This place made our list of Top Three Places We Love to Stay.

If you are coming here to have internet, don’t 😆 but if you are coming here to connect with other fellow travelers, this is the spot. Sites aren’t exactly beautiful… but there are some pretty spots. The pools is nice! The check in process is like a well oiled machine, but definitely make it a priority to get there by noon. Not 1 minute before.

Nice big park. Nice space between sites. The new section is really nice, but give us the older sections instead. The park really needs to reconsider the traffic flow problems at the entrance. If they want to admit it or not, there is an issue there that should be addressed.
