As always, the DNR staff was very helpful and kind, giving accurate directions and info. Completed the CCC Challenge on a rainy day - didn't see any other hikers on the trails but school children joined the fun after the rain ceased. A very pleasant park with a variety of amenities that will be fun to visit again in the future!

This is a park I didn't know about until recently. Lots of bike trails. Bison 🦬 to look at, 100 foot tall fire tower, lake, and campground. No camp store but the camp host sells firewood and ice. I plan on going back. My grandson and I had a good time with lots of things to do.

Nice, smaller park. Lake has lots of moss and algae or something, but lots of people were fishing. The American Bison herd and campground are the main attractions, otherwise, not much to it. Bison laid down the entire time we were there.

Very nice state park. We stayed at the campground during the week and it was very quiet and maintained. Park itself is really nice and mostly wooded with a small pond to swim in, a small bison preserve and a fire tower that you can climb up and overlook the area.

Thus a lovely park to visit. The bison exhibit is really fun to walk around and see, and the firepower is awesome! I'm so happy they renovated/reopened it. There's camping, and some good fishing spots. Its close to the rivergreenway too, which I love!

Great day outdoors! Took 3 hours to walk the Halloween Scavenger Hunt that took us basically all over the park! Bison were good to see and the Fire Tower didn't take long to climb! Glad to have a place locally with great paths and nature walks

Beautiful place to visit. Quiet and serene. I took my dog and we walked a portion of trail 5. On one side of the park. More of the trails 4&5 on the other side of the road. The distance we traveled was a good work out. My dog and I both loved the park. I liked seeing the Buffalo roam and grazing. We will be back. So many things and trails to discover.

I had an enjoyable time in this park. The fire tower was very nice and a good workout to climb the 100 steps (or so). Not much of a view, but still cool to do. I enjoyed walking the trail around the bison enclosure. The came right up to the fence and gosh those things are huge. First time ever seeing one up close like that. The trails were not remarkable or very long, but it was still a really enjoyable time to be hiking outside and enjoy nature. Looks like people were enjoying the lake - swimming and fishing. Everything seemed very clean and well-kept. There was an old school house there and it was really interesting reading the history of that and seeing the museum inside.

Didn't do much. Took a walk around to Bison pasture with my sister, she goes walking there alot & I went with her. We saw the baby bison, very cute! Then she drove me around to see some of the rest of the park! Seems like a pretty nice place to relax!

We visited for a couple hours, and enjoyed climbing the fire tower, viewing the bison, checking out the lake, playing on the play structure, and hiking a bit. The fire tower steps and railing were in great shape. The bison area has a gravel path all the way around it with some areas of shade. There are pit toilets near the fire tower. My children played on the play equipment near the lake, and really liked the swings. The hiking trails were really well maintained. Very flat, easy hiking.
