We stayed her on our way back to Indiana from Disney for the night. The site had full hook up with a cement pad and a picnic table. It was pretty narrow. They had a little pond . The bathrooms were nice and kept up. It’s a good for an overnight stay if you’re in the area .

Sugar ants are bad which they told us at check in but they also told they would come down and spray the area once we got setup. NEVER happened. Since it was a holiday weekend they also didn’t have anybody in the office. Their maintenance man was using a blower while we were setting up and blew gravel and dust all over us. In general if you are looking to spend a night or two it was quiet and basically a place to park. The sugar ants invaded us no matter how much we sprayed for ourselves. We will look for a different place next time. The staff was pretty nice when we checked in.

The owner runs a communist park. She is a control freak who wont allow a visitor without checking in the office first. If its summer your guest would have to pay to visit pool and shower. Dont give your credit card information for they illegally hold the numbers and charge the card without prior authorization. They also quote one price but charge something completely different. Your charged a deposit that is not returned. Plus you will hear all the details your first day there how much she hates being left the park when her husband passed away. The price is way over priced for a teeny little piece of grass where they park RV's side by side. They are all about the money and charge for everything. Hopefully when you do stay there there will be new owners by then. She takes it out on the customers the fact she has it up for sale but cant find anyone to purchase it. The turnover rate of employees also says something for a place. The only way they do keep an employee is they happen to get paid by free rent in one of the parks owned rentals. The owner is a miserable person who doesnt get along with anyone. She certainly isnt professional and shouldn't be dealing with the public

When the Florida State Parks closed I needed a place to stay as i traveled home. I was so fortunate to stop for 11 nights at this KOA. Sites up on the hill have concrete pads and patios. Grass is mowed and clipped around concrete pads. There are so many places to walk with your dog and find their secret gardens and water features but, the best part is the staff. They checked on me. One of the staff members did a curbside pickup of rgroceries for me. Special people and a special place!

We had the pleasure of staying in Ozark for a month. During the week, the park was mostly empty, like in the picture. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There is a train that passes a few times at night and during the day the military helicopters flew over. Overall really a quiet park. They have a cute little pond fully stocked, with a water wheel & fountain. The dog park was not huge, but still good size for our girls to run and fetch toys. Great location to the base if you are military and not far from Dothan & Enterprise.

What a lovely smaller campground! Well kept and beautiful landscaping. Love the nice level concrete pads for rv and very convenient hookups!! Also Alex is very nice and helpful to everyone, we will definitely come here again .

My daughter just moved to Dothan and took our camper. My family has camped for 40 years. I can definitely say dealing with the owner of this campground was one of the worse experiences we’ve had. She was difficult to get in touch with, was NOT accommodating, charged a higher price than she quoted to begin with, and finally said she was booked and there was no spaces available when over half the campground was empty! KOA needs to investigate her! We’ve never been treated by owners of campgrounds this way!

Super nice KOA right on route 231. Although close to the highway, far enough back that it isn't noisy. Convenient cafe/restaurant. Nice not to have to cook after a day on the road. We had a pizza delivered right to our site. Was the best pizza we had so far on this trip!

A lovely, well maintained KOA with level, concrete or asphalt pads, good water and sewer, and excellent cable. Very nice and helpful staff. Grounds are beautiful, with fountains and a fish pond. Pool, playground and a very large fenced off-leash dog park. Overnight sites are a little narrow but situated to maximize privacy. Washrooms and laundry are good. Longer term sites looked very nice. A great spot for an overnight or longer. We will be back.

Owners are on site and fully engaged in making this a special KOA. Constantly upgrading. Small overall, but well organized with large, level pull through and back in sites. Nice long term area. Great water pressure, double septic hookups and correct electrical supply. Staff is friendly and helpful. Propane on site. Nice pool, laundry and bath house. Convenient to Fort Rucker. Reasonable rates. Have stayed here several times and will return.

Pulled in for an overnight stay here and was very pleased. The spot was level and had two sewer hookups spaced so short and long RVs have no trouble hooking up. Everything there is kept up nicely. There is a cloth hammock by the small lake and a lit walking path around it. The owner was mopping the floors to the restrooms and laundry in the morning. There are long term spots and they are separate from the short term. The dog park is plenty large enough for the dogs to run around and explore. On the way to it, there is an old bomb shelter from the '60s and an old licensed still from the '70s. I would definitely stay there again.

Awful service, I was looking for a place to spend the night while hurricane Irma was going through Miami, I drove all the way up there "15 hours" and when I finally settled down and made the tents the staff came to me and told me I had to LEAVE because they made a mistake and charged me less than what the total was supposed to be; I tried to make a deal to stay because I was tired and didn't have a place to go, they offered to let me stay if I payed as a Full RV, almost 300 dollars ! Staff was really rude and just told us we had to leave ! Never going back! The area is full of great camping places that charge 20-30 dollars a night with lake view and great staff !

Thought the park was perfect at first...then realized it was still under construction. Heavy machinery coming near my RV and vehicles is kinda scary since the "contract" you sign when moving in states "they aren't liable for damages". Then it got really bad, I go to pay rent on the due date and the employee working "ken" didn't know how much my rent was. Figured out that mess and thought we were all back on the same page. Woke up next morning, go to the bank and see that they ran my credit card for $19.08. I again waste my time going to the office in hopes it will be an easy fix. NO it wasn't, they didn't know anything about it. Had to print off my bank statement and take my receipts up there to proof what I was saying. Finally they got on the ball and refunded my money, at this point I decided I was done staying here. Gave my months notice and walked out of the office assuming everything was okay for the remaining 20 days I was going to be here. Two days later the owner "Bill" came to my RV intoxicated armed with a megaphone and a flashlight. He order me outside, I didn't open my door as I could tell he was drunk when he fell out of his golf cart and was slurring his words. He then got angry that I wouldn't go outside and he used his flashlight to cause major damage to the exterior of my RV. I called the local authorities because I feared for the safety of spouse and I. Before the cops could arrive he threatened to taser my spouse. He refused to give us a refund that night, cops made him settle down and I had high hopes I could continue to stay for the remainder of the time I paid for. Not a chance, the next day we come home, as we get out of our vehicle he hops on his golf and heads our way. We scrambled to the safety of our RV once again. This time I called 911 immediately. Ozark police and Dale county Sheriff responded lights and sirens and was able to persuade him to give us a full refund. We moved out of there that day! 1. Don't stay here 2. If you do, get everything in writing and don't pay with you credit card; they keep your card number on file. 3. Have your RV fully insured and set up video cameras. 4. Please protect yourself. As "Bill" drinks every night!

I lived here for over 2 years while I was stationed there. I truly loved being there with Lori, Bill, and Hannah! Praying all is well for you all! Miss you! Looks like everything just keeps getting better and better. And the reviews I read that talk about how clean everything was held true the entire time I was there. The amenities were convenient and always kept up. The pond, watermill, and dog walking park were adorable. Excellent concrete pads with full hook up as well as additional hook up for cable was awesome! It was always quiet, friendly, and safe. I would move back in a heartbeat should that opportunity ever arise!

Stopped for 1 night. Very nice but bring your own water regulator or buy one from them for $16. I've always been fortunate that higher end campgrounds have had them installed on all hookups.
