Absolutely gorgeous! The park is beautiful too. There is a path around the spring with benches along the way. Picnic tables, grills and bathrooms with water.

This is a gorgeous place to go for a walk or to picnic beside the spring. The water is so blue and clear, the path around it opens into miniature caves, and the trail in general brings you through beautiful vegetation that catches the sun in a stunning way. We didn't do any of the additional trails, but if you are interested in seeing the springs, you should definitely stop by. If you live a decent distance away, I suggest looking up some other things to do in the area, too. Unlike something like Johnson's Shuttins, this is not an all-day adventure.

We stopped by last minute on our way through and we were not disappointed. The water is so blue the pics don't do it justice. The cool breeze coming off the water felt really nice in the summer heat. Definitely worth the stop!

We are traveling back to the east coast. As I was looking on Google maps at places to stop through Missouri, I found this place. Absolutely gorgeous is all I can say. The water was easly high 40's low 50's degrees as it is pushed up through the spring so on a hot summer day as the wind pushes over the water its Like a natural air conditioning. The water is very clear and the whole park is very scenic. We were so happy that we stopped here and would absolutely advise anyone passing through to stop and go see it. You will most definitely wish you had. Park service does a great job keeping the area mowed, and hiking trails are upkept.

If the beaten path, but it’s well worth getting out and walking around and stretching while listening to the water rushing.

What a nice little side trip. Worth the 10 minutes to get there. Gorgeous water and rock formations.

Blue Springs is not only beautiful, but has an average daily flow rate of 293 million gallons of water. There is a trail and caves behind the spring. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. Easy to get from the parking lot.

Big Spring is absolutely stunning! The water is incredibly clear, giving it a beautiful, almost magical appearance. It's amazing to see such pristine water flowing straight out from within the hill—it really feels like nature at its purest. On average, a whopping 288 million gallons of water flow out every day, which is just mind-blowing. If you're into natural wonders, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This is a beautiful spring in Shannon County, Missouri. A nearby gravel bar/camping site/swimming hole makes it a great spot to cool off after your hike. It's definitely worth a visit.
