Very quiet, clean, and beautiful campsite. Bathrooms and showers are cleanest I’ve ever been to and I have camped a lot of places. Be advised National sites are very “bear aware” and you will need to put everything away any time you leave your site. This campsite is great for biking with a beautiful paved trail that leads into both Ucluelet one way and Tofino the other- worth the ride. Long beach is stunning, with so much space we felt like the only people on the beach some days. You can walk and walk at low tide which is beautiful. Sunsets are also a must watch. The weather is coastal for sure and can be windy with cloud cover or misty and can be colder than you’d expect at night so bring warm clothes! Every site also has an electrical hookup which is really handy if you need to charge things- I’d recommend bringing a small extension cord so you could charge in your tent. Beach access is hilly so come prepared to walk up a steep hill on the way back.

We were happy winners to have a spot in this campground the same day we arrived. Out trip was spontaneous and when we came to the campground we were happy to hear that someone decided to leave earlier and now they have the free spot. The camp is near the Long Beach. So it’s a short walk there and also you will find a lot of Blue Jay there Highly recommended to stay there!

This is a great campsite. Electrical hookup means no generators, so it's very peaceful. The trees are thick between each site so it feels very private. Facilities were well kept, but poorly designed. Beach access is down a long trail with a 5-10% grade, so not very accessible for people with mobility limitations. The gatehouse differs from BC parks in that the only thing they sell is firewood. No ice, or treats for the kids.

The campground is clean with well-maintained facilities. Having electric hookups is so convenient! In the evenings, children can attend fun lectures at the theater. Long Beach is peaceful and lovely~

Great campground!! The shower by the walk-in sites had actual hot water and pressure!! Actual bathrooms with sinks, a scuba divers shower as well as a place to wash your dishes. Only downside…was the walking back to our site from the beach. Pretty steep path

The site itself is beautiful! Very decent size and private. Our campsite was near trails so it was a short walk to the beautiful beach. Unfortunately a lot of the bathrooms were closed and of the ones that were open a lot were not in working order during our time of visit.

The best campground I ever stayed at! Starting from location (old growth forest and ocean nearby) to amenities - very well equiped washrooms, potable water, showers (no coins needed). Power available at the tenting campsite - super convenient. Just amazing. The bare campsite policy is a bit of an overkill, but it's understandable. Will be back if I'm ever in the area again and able to book the site :D

Love this camp ground. It is so well run and so quiet. I have stayed in other campgrounds in Tofino which are terribly noisy and not well maintained. Greenpoint is the exact opposite. Really hard to get a spot but worth it. Bit of a trek to the beach as you're up on a hill so take everything you need with you so you don't have to climb the hill twice! Can't wait to go back next year.

Contrary to the web site, the showers are closed for covid.
