I wish I could give a glowing review about this place, so I'll start with the good parts. Putting golf for families, they have a pool. Great location to downtown Gelena. Now the part I didn't care for. The park is very cramped. Spots are very small. We wanted a electric water site because we were in a modified van. When we arrived they charged a $50 for a tent spot no water and a long way to restrooms. I told them my husband was handicapped and there was no consideration of making it easier for him. The spot was uneven and we slept at a slant. The part that bothered me is that they charged us $50 when it was a true tent site that should have cost $20. When I spoke to the women at check out they took 10% off but then charged me 3% because I used my card. I knew about the 3% charge before we checked in. So pick this camp ground and please have a great experience.....I didnt!

We stay several days at this campground for a friend's surprise birthday party. There lots of trees for shade. They have hay rides on Saturday and Glow Golf as well. We did not partake in these activities but it seems like it would be fun. It was a little tricky getting into the backup sites as spaces were a little close. There are several permanent campers but they seems very well kept. We did not use the bathhouse or the pool but I would recommend this spot.

A well run campground. A great pool and the staff were friendly. The campsites are close together for RVers but there are some beautiful tent sites. $52 for full hookup so reasonable. We had a good stay and enjoyed some of the many things to do in Galena. I will use them again.

Made reservations in May and was told my site was site 30 as I'm handicap and just had knee surgery when I got there I was advised that I was moved to site 115 The site was nothing but large rocks and mud with very uneven holes from the tractor tire tracks which caused me to twist my knee then to add to the mud and stones the site had no power and after calling the office after a hour of waiting they finally fix the power . I've been coming to this campground for five years and will never be coming back to camp their customer service is not good anymore and they never sent a notification of the change of the change of the site change Knowing that I was handicap. They now lost a loyal customer and I will not tell people to camp there anymore.

We've already rebooked! The perfect location, especially when the wife forgets things. A little road noise. Wal-mart is a 3 minute walk. Downtown Galena is a 9-minute bike ride. Showers were exactly like campground showers. Putt putt and a pool what's not to love. Culvers is about a 90 second walk.
