I seriously loved my time at Palm Canyon. It is directly across the street from the Anza Borrego Desert visitor center and Borrego Palm Canyon oasis so extremely convenient. Ambience is super cute and kitsch, western themed and I thought it was hilarious. The room was modern and had everything I needed. The staff text line responded almost instantaneously to any questions. If you’re looking for your standard accommodation outside of State Park, this is a terrific option.

Everything was nice and clean. The bed was incredible, super comfortable. Neat little hike behind the RV portion. If it just had another on-site food option it would have been all 5 star. We will be going back.

Good place I didn't give 5 stars 1 of there 2 pools is closed also cause they text you while your here to remind you of some nice gatherings and music and mimosa in the morning and in a text they might ask u how your stay is going? I responded to their text saying I'm held up in my room with a twisted ankle and they responded telling me there is ice a hundred yards away from my rm INSTEAD of simply telling me that they will bring me some ice.. I worked at a hotel a couple times and you have to be more personable than just texting The staff can go out of their way a little bit will go a long way instead of empty text from a random stranger at the hotel asking about me & not bringing me ice as can easily be done with great care & service.. I hobbled got the ice and soaked my ankle....

Check in was a bit odd with a small window available. The hotel has a distinctive theme which is probably appreciated more by others than myself. The room itself is very large but was short on wall outlets and charging stations for all the electronics we carry today. I was there in Dec and it was not crowded at all.

We visit this place a few times a year because it's pretty decent for the price, and the old-west theme is enjoyable. Normally there's not much of a crowd, at least at the times we've gone. We recently stayed here on a Friday night and there were plenty of rooms, we got a semi-private suite with a large jetted tub and a partitioned room. Again, nice for the price and the location overall is good, at the end of a long road, which makes you feel secluded, which is great if that's what you're into. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an inexpensive stay in Borrego Springs.
