Our very first stay with Thousand Trails ended with our membership being permanently cancelled after only 5 days into a 7-day stay. Buyer beware. We purchased our membership in full after buying property in Oregon and planned to use Thousand Trails while traveling and building on our land. Since many locations allow tent camping, we thought it would be a good fit for our family. During our stay, we received a few general text reminders about campsite upkeep and pet cleanup that appeared to go out to multiple campers. We were never personally approached, given a written violation, or told our membership was at risk. Then suddenly we were asked to leave, followed by an email stating our membership had been permanently terminated across the entire system. What made this especially frustrating was that our campsite was placed behind the cabins where groups were drinking and being loud at night, which caused our dogs to bark at times. There was also a “Meet the Manager” event during our stay that we attended, and management had every opportunity to discuss concerns with us directly, but nothing was ever brought to our attention. Instead of communication or a warning, we were simply removed and then ignored when we tried reaching out to membership services afterward. We have sent multiple emails asking for clarification and reconsideration and have received no response. The campground itself felt outdated, with crab grass throughout the grounds, complaints from long-time members during the manager meeting, and concerns raised about maintenance and lack of community activities. Many members there seemed frustrated with management and upper management policies. I understand campgrounds have rules, and I respect that. But permanently cancelling a fully paid membership after a family’s first stay without clear communication or an opportunity to correct issues felt unfair and extreme.

I found this RV park to be poorly maintained and very noisy because of the location right by the highway .Two main bathrooms/laundry rooms and one remained closed for maintence a full week and wasnt open yet when I left. Ranger station does not answer calls and you cant leave a message ..so I called the office to say I was gonna check out late because I got stranded without my RV key ...she said ok this time but we only take medical emergencies as an excuse normally ...got a $30 late fee deducted from my bank acct regardless ...yet the park was very empty ..I dont get it ..I definitely think they could do better super disappointing

People here are so helpful. Lots of activities. Pool and hot tub is always clean. Bathrooms, shower and laundry rooms are always well maintained. Clubhouse is busy daily. The pool is heated and they have water aerobics and yoga. And water volleyball games. And the hot tub is so nice. They have food trucks come in for subs and pizza. And they have coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. They have a movie day with popcorn. Saturday mornings they do cartoons for the kids. There is a fire pit you can sit the side of the pool at in chairs. They have lots of tables and chairs and lounge chairs for taking and relaxing. There's cabanas it you want shade. Sometimes they have ice cream socials and potato bars. Even had a chili cook off. Pool tables and card tables with things going on all day. Oh they have all kinds of board games also. Very busy place! If your bored, it's your fault!

Fabulous campground, plenty of hookup sites, great people, pool & spa super clean, a few palm trees fell or cut down and new ones installed to keep the park as a legal date farm. Definitely one of the better Thousand Trails Resort parks to enjoy.

If you could give half scores I would say 3.5. The pool area is nice, and the bathroom and showers were as well. The actual campsites need some work. We saw several that said "no power" and it looked like the sites used have grass our site as well as many others had weeds. Most of the weeds were a foot tall. We saw grounds crews in the park but they did not make it our section. They do keep the grounds near the entrance nice. Also the park is near the highway so it can be a little noisy at times. I think the online pictures of the park are not current.

Great RV Park! Lots of community events, nice grounds and pool/spa. Beautiful palms 🌴 We enjoyed our visit! Only complaint is the freeway noise is constant and there isn't anything but a wall to block the sound.

Had a great stay here in my RV! It’s a great location close to Palm Springs and close enough to be able to visit Joshua tree and some other great nature spots in an easy day trip. All the palm trees are beautiful too at the park and I loved the pool and hot tub! Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the Palm Springs area.

EDIT: these guys replied with a copy-paste answer. EVERYONE I spoke to who was staying there have had something stolen. You are NOT safe here. You’ve been warned. This place excuses themselves with “oh it happens all the time” bs. Letter sent to corporate To Whom It May Concern, I’m writing to formally report a serious incident that occurred at your property. My 100 lb e-bike was stolen overnight, and based on the circumstances, I have reason to believe someone with access to the property may have been involved. I called the listed “emergency” number several times but received no answer, and my voicemail was never returned. When I spoke to one of the staff members the next day, he mentioned that another worker’s bike had been stolen recently and that this “happens often,” which was very concerning. Even when the police arrived, no staff member came over to assist or check on the situation. The property is surrounded by walls with a single entry and exit point, making it highly unlikely that a 100 lb e-bike could be removed without being noticed. I have repeatedly asked for the security footage to be reviewed but have not received confirmation that this has been done. Additionally, while walking around the park and speaking with other guests, two out of four people I spoke with said they’ve also had bikes or personal belongings stolen during their stay. This points to a recurring security issue on the property that requires immediate attention. I have filed a police report and set up my own cameras in the area. I expect management to cooperate with the investigation, review the footage, and take steps to ensure better safety and accountability for all guests.

We had a lovely weekend stay. Just got our cabin pass and have been visiting one TT a month and so far this one was the nicest. Their rec center was beautiful, tons of games separate library space, and littles had their own area. Loved how close grocery store was. Awesome restaurants in the area. Great cell service. We will be back.

We love this park, the pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. Teto at the gate is friendly and gets you to you spot efficiently. Brittany in the Recreation lodge is fantastic. The pull thru sites are spacious even though they are only 30amp. We make this a regular stop on our way south and north while snowbirding.

My husband and I absolutely love this park—it’s one of our favorites in the Thousand Trails network. TT is the sweetest; she’s so helpful and always greets us with the biggest smile. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. We really enjoy the social activities and the Taco Tuesday truck. I’d recommend this park to families, couples, or even women traveling solo. It’s clean, safe, and supportive with wonderful amenities. There’s even a little library and a kids’ play area! The park is modern and well-maintained, with cute cabins available as well. It’s also just a short drive to downtown, and the RV sites are relatively level—which I appreciate because I don't enjoy parking on a hill (lol). If you time your visit right, you might even catch some great live music! We’re proud to call this park our home away from home and can’t wait to come back to see Marcus, TT, Teresa and the rest of our Thousand Trails family. Thank you all for everything you do. 🌞 🧜‍♀️ 🌴

We’ve visited Thousand Trails Palm Springs many times before, but after being away for about 14 months, we were absolutely blown away by the warm welcome and all the improvements! Right from the start, Park Ranger T.T. set the tone for our stay. T.T. greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, took care of the check-in process smoothly (license, registration, and insurance), and then went above and beyond by making sure we had clear driving directions so we’d be perfectly set up and facing the right way. That thoughtful attention made arrival stress-free—what a great way to start a trip! Then came the big surprise: brand-new 30/50 AMP pedestals and all the hard work that’s gone into site repairs and upgrades. WoW—fantastic! It’s obvious that a lot of care and effort has been invested in making the park more comfortable and convenient for guests. We also love how T.T. took our number and has been sending just the right amount of text updates about current and upcoming events—helpful without being overwhelming. It makes us feel connected and part of the fun. And of course, we know it’s not just T.T., but the entire team working behind the scenes to keep this resort running so smoothly. You can tell why this park consistently earns 5-star ratings—they’ve earned it! We couldn’t be happier with our return to Thousand Trails Palm Springs. From the friendly faces to the upgrades to the little touches that make you feel welcome, it’s an RV resort that just keeps getting better. We’ll definitely be back again and again! 🌴🚐✨

Disappointed with my stay here. I was first assigned to a site with no power, then moved to another that barely fit my 40' fifth wheel and left no space for my truck. Staff informed me that there were no 50-amp pull-throughs, which made things more difficult. The site was so tight that my RV front end stuck into the narrow road, and the only way to park my truck was in a space next to me. Even though the park was nearly empty, staff insisted I move it all the way across the park to overflow in 90+ degree heat. When I hesitated, I received an aggressive knock on my door, which made me feel very unwelcome. The staff also drives around in golf carts like security, lurking at sites. They even left a note on my RV saying it shouldn’t overhang into the road—even though they put me in this undersized spot. They also blamed me for not telling them I had a patio. The roads are extremely narrow and difficult to maneuver with a bigger rig. The pool is nice, but the water was so warm it wasn’t refreshing in the desert heat. The location is convenient, but it’s very noisy with highway traffic and trains running nearby. On two sides of the park, you’re bordered by businesses, so your “view” is either a concrete wall or a parking lot. As a Journey (Trails Collection) premium member who purchased access for all regions, I expected much better communication, service, and respect. For the price and membership investment, this experience was extremely disappointing.

We stayed here May 5 - May 15, 2025. Totally enjoyed this park. Staff were great, courteous and helpful. Fun events had a cookout and popsicle golf cart drive around delivering popsicles to sites. Pool was nice. Great location to shopping, eating out and we went to Joshua Tree National Park. Only draw back was you got to choose your own site so driving around in a 40ft class A to find a spot was difficult. They need a place we could park it while we found a spot. Also palm trees at the corners of every site both sides which made is difficult to back in. Very clean park also. Would return. They closed for the summer due to heat but are suppose to be fixing the electric at sites. We felt very safe in this park
