Location & Surroundings

Situated in the charming municipality of Saint-Fabien, QC, the park occupies a stunning position where the mountains meet the sea. The landscape is defined by its iconic bays and capes, which create a dramatic backdrop for any RV trip. Visitors can access basic campground services, including well-maintained sanitation facilities and drinking water stations. The sites are designed to minimize environmental impact, providing a peaceful atmosphere that allows you to connect with nature. While full-service hookups are limited, the availability of spacious, wooded campsites ensures that you can experience the quiet solitude of the forest while remaining within reach of the park's primary trail networks.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Outdoor enthusiasts will find no shortage of activity, with extensive hiking trails that offer panoramic views of the river. The park is a premier spot for wildlife observation, particularly for watching harbor seals resting on the rocks during low tide. Beyond the park gates, you can explore the local charm of Saint-Fabien or venture slightly further to discover the cultural offerings, artisan boutiques, and maritime history found throughout the surrounding towns of the lower Saint Lawrence valley.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is ideal for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers who prioritize a quiet, immersive experience over high-intensity amenities. It suits self-sufficient RVers who enjoy boondocking or dry camping in scenic, protected areas. Went off-season, the place is really beautiful. I recommend walking on the beach instead of the trails besides them. The view from the beach is clearer. On my walks I spotted several deers!

Very beautiful place, hiked the northern route, always on the edge of the river. Accessible with stroller.

Stopped for one night on our way to the east coast. Good private sites, great views. Kids loved biking on the small roads and paths.
