This review is no reflection of the actual park, as we unfortunately didn’t even get to that point. I called to inquire about a long-term rv stay and was met by an extremely rude woman. I asked basic questions about how much a monthly rv stay would be. She said “$860/month but the price will be going up in May”. I asked how much it will be going up and she “didn’t know yet”. She proceeded to ask me if I worked in the area (she said that affected the price too, although I have no idea why), and what I was doing in the area. Although that didn’t seem relevant, I remained polite and explained I work remotely and that my husband and I were house hunting. She asked what working remotely was, so I told her I work from home. She said “so you work for yourself”. I said no, I work for a company but I work from home. She asked if my husband worked. I laughed and said no, I make good money (again, no idea why this is relevant as she mentioned they run background and credit checks). When asked who was staying in the trailer, I said me, my husband and two dogs. She asked what breed the dogs were. I said a corgi and a Rottweiler and asked if the Rottweiler would be an issue (which I totally understand for insurance purposes. There are a lot of rv parks that do not allow Rottweilers, and we are very familiar with this. It’s no problem and we look elsewhere). So in response to asking her if it would be an issue she said “well that’s a vicious breed”. I said I completely understand, so if that’s not something you’re comfortable with, no problem. She still said it’s a vicious breed and said she needed to talk to her brother about it. She also grilled me on how long we’d be staying, more questions about why we would be in the area. Overall, it felt like an interrogation, and it seemed like she was trying to find a reason to refuse us. But no need! We will NOT be staying here.

Great campground. Pulling a 39 ft fifth wheel with a one ton truck site was easy to pull in and pull out. Water electric and sewer hookups were easily accessible and fully functional. Campground is clean and well managed. Customer service is great.

This was the easiest park to check in and out! And so close to the Appomattox museum! We went sightseeing then came back to let the dogs out. Very nice!

There's no bath house but the spaces are nice and large and close to everything you could possibly imagine

Nice, gravel spots with wide grass area at the site. We had full hookups. The Appomattox Courthouse NHP is nearby. Cash or check only? Only complaint is that the majority of sites face so the RV door side is full sun & no shade.

We spent a month at Parkview RV park and overall we were really impressed. After reading some reviews on other sites I was cautious about making a reservation for so long. After checking in and meeting the owners, I was fine with our stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The site was long enough for our RV and truck and do offer other parking areas if you have visitors. The site was paved and had a small grass area to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We had no issues with W/E/S during our stay and the park was surprisingly quiet in terms of campground noise. Highway 460 is nearby and you do get some road noise from it but it was manageable during our stay. The RV park doesn't offer any amenities such as a fire ring, picnic table or bath houses so you have to be self contained and bring your own chairs and tables. Overall we had a good stay here and will do so again. We are in the area a few times a year and this will be our go to as some of the other parks in the area have gone way overboard on pricing and other additional costs to stay or have visitors.

We stayed here for two week. Had zero issues. The people are friendly. The park is clean. It's nothing fancy. No laundry, no bathroom facilities, no playground, no pool. Full hookup and everything works. It's easy access to the highway so there is some road noise. It's right smack in the middle of more history than you can wrap your brain around.
