This beach is the BEST! there is a small fee at the gate, plenty of parking, although my family and I went during the week, not on a weekend so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. There are changing rooms at the beach, and lots of them. 10+ and they have flushing toilets, running water and lights! There are also little trails in the woods along the shoreline on each side of the beach where there are picnic tables, small grills and some have access right to the water. The beach itself is HUGE, plenty of room for everyone and not too crowded. There is also a small playground and swings.

All time favorite campground! We try to go at least two times yearly. The campsites are clean and spacious. The facilities are clean, and there are plenty of them. The water at the beach is very nice and not slimy walking in. You also can rent boats and kayaks for the day. There are many hiking trails, with the cool addition of searching for unique picnic tables.

Peaceful and beautiful. If you live near here it should be your go-to place for swimming and relaxing. If you dont live near then it is a great place to travel and camp. Veterans get in free. There is boating nearby at Greeleys Landing and in town there is the famous Bears Den restaurant with cabin motel rooms.

Beautiful place to camp and to enjoy the fresh air! Clean sites and fresh potable water. Bathrooms are pristine. The little rock formations are beautiful here, I enjoyed the creativity of the picnic tables next to the stones. Gorgeous view of the lake viewing Borestone mountain. Nice clear water and clean beaches, and it also has a fun playground for kids! Very friendly and helpful park rangers here. Will help you out whatever they can. Can't wait to come back next year!

Over all, a very nice campground. We stayed for a week in August of '23. There's a nice beach/swimming/playground/picnic area with ample parking for day use only. There are decent bathrooms/showers with hot water. There are lots of hiking trails all around the park. My only complaint was how rough the dirt roads were within the park. The numerous potholes did a number on my old pickup truck's suspension!

Had a great day at the beach with the grandkids here. Sandy beach. Little bit rocky in spots in the water but not bad. There was a small playground and areas you could set up for a day of bbq and be in the shade if your not one for being in direct sunlight all day. Fun for all here.

We tent camped here for two nights. It was quiet during the time we went (Sept 11-13), so not too many camping. The site was nice and spacious, including a picnic table and ring for a campfire. Sites are well spaced out too, and there are many large boulders in between. Fun for kids to climb! Bundles of wood are available at the checkin booth for $6. Bathrooms/showers are also available and very spacious. There is a downhill trail leading to the lake, with a spot to swim, small playground for kids, picnic tables and grills, and a trail to walk. They also offer kayak, boat, and canoe rentals for $3 an hour per boat (as of 2022). There are bathrooms by the lake, as well, and spots to rinse off. This place is peaceful and beautiful, thickly wooded with views of the mountains when you're at the lake. You can hear the loons on the lake at night!
