Beautiful little overlook of the Collegiate Peaks and the valley below. Requires a CO state parks pass, which you can buy there at the entrance. Plenty of picnic tables and small post-in-ground bbq grills, each with their own single parking spot on the short dirt road loop.

I stop here to let my dog stretch his legs whenever I drive between the front range and the West slope. It's a great place to chill for a bit and enjoy the view of the collegiate peaks. No trash cans or flushing toilets. Remember to pack out trash and dog poop bags

Nice outlook with picnic tables and bathrooms. There's a fee or pass that is asked. Great place to watch the sunrise

The overlook has a peaceful energy, and it’s never felt overcrowded whenever I’ve visited. There are clean pit toilets, shaded picnic tables, benches, and informational signs that explain the mountain range. It’s a great place to stretch your legs, eat lunch, or just take in the moment. There’s also access to a camping spots, bike & hiking trails.

Awesome views. Clean vault toilets. You need a state parks pass to visit - be sure to pick up one for each vehicle when you renew your registration (Keep Colorado Wild pass). Nice area. We just looked around but there appears to be hiking and biking around.

On our way from Estes Park down to Salida. Stopped here to stretch our legs and use the facilities before getting back on the road. What a nice place for a picnic, with individual covered spots with tables, as well as a main gazebo with info panels about the mountains and the valley over the years. Also setup to accommodate horse trailers, and multi-use trails. The views are absolutely amazing here!

Lovely overlook with picnic areas, and a small covered pavilion. It also has a horse trailer turnaround! Plenty of parking. $10 daily entry fee.
