Plenty of things to do daily for kids including biking, playing in the sand at the beach, using the playgrounds, pool/splashpad, jump pad and different daily activities. That being said some things are on a schedule so keep an eye out. The cabins are small which is to be expected with very soft beds with no edge support so you feel as if you will fall out. The upper loft is only 2-3 feet high so I wouldn't recommend anyone sleep up there or else end up with a bruised noggin. The food you can order is very good. Watch out for pine pitch, our cabin had it all over the deck and railings. Overall a decent way to spend 3 days, wouldn't want to do a full week.

We had a beautiful campsite right next to everything it was perfect for us. There is so much to do or just relax. We have a dog and we loved walking her around the park. Everyone was very nice polite and helpful. I dropped my phone and they returned it to my campsite. We will definitely return .

I had high expectations for Pine Acres Resort, and while there were some positives, overall I left disappointed. The good: The camping area is very well maintained, spacious, and well organized. Everything was kept clean, and I really enjoyed the Friday/ Sunday activities—they were fun and a great touch for families. The bad: The pool is far too small for the size of the resort. In the mornings, the lake is in the shadow and very cold, so most guests head to the pool, making it overcrowded. By the afternoon, the pool area also had an unpleasant smell. Our cabin (#68, a full-service cabin) was poorly maintained. The first two days were very hot, but we couldn’t use the AC because it smelled strongly of humidity and mold. The kitchen cabin also had an overwhelming mold smell—so strong that we chose not to use anything inside and instead bought everything we needed. The cabin didn’t have any mosquito screens, so if we kept the doors open, flies would immediately get inside, making it very difficult to keep food safe. Unfortunately, the last two days it rained, and since we couldn’t use the AC or comfortably stay outside, we ended up leaving two days early. Overall, while I loved the outdoor spaces and activities, the cabin experience was very disappointing. This could be a wonderful resort if they properly maintained their cabins and improved the pool situation.

We have visited for the last 3 years. My boys really enjoy pine acres and talk about it all year. I’m finally taking the time to write a review. I would like to see the availability for shorter premium cabin stays 7 days is a bit long for us. So this year we stayed in the rustic cabin for 3 nights (special deal 25% off) and had another great stay. There is a per person charge and a charge for pets. We stayed midweek.

We’ve been loyal guests at Pine Acres for years and brought extended family this summer, five cabins in total, representing nearly $10,000 in bookings. Unfortunately, during our stay, we discovered a bed bug in our cabin. It was later confirmed by both a service technician and a staff member, who stated it was an adult male bed bug, with other remnants found in the window sill. This was not speculation; it was documented and discussed openly with staff. See multiple reviews from past guests which also confirmed bed bugs and terrible customer service. What followed was a three-day disruption: We were moved far away from our group, isolating us from the family trip we had planned. We had to launder all our belongings at our own expense, over $100, to ensure safety and avoid contamination. We repeatedly requested to speak with management to resolve the issue during our stay and were told we’d receive a follow-up phone call after the owner returned. That call never came. Instead, we received a cold, dismissive email days later, stating that “nothing was found,” which contradicted what staff had already confirmed in person. It felt like an effort to deflect, not to resolve. We never asked for anything unreasonable. We hoped for: An honest acknowledgment of the issue. A direct, respectful conversation. A two-day reimbursement + laundry to cover the undeniable inconvenience and costs incurred. Instead, we were met with defensiveness and misrepresentation. A public response from the business has even falsely claimed we made threats (see my google review) —something we absolutely did not do. We simply said we would share our experience, and now we are. This review is about accountability. What this experience revealed is that when things go wrong, Pine Acres lacks the leadership, communication, and integrity to handle it professionally. Great businesses build trust through how they respond to problems, not by denying them or shifting blame. Customer service is not about making a sale today. It’s about building relationships that last. That means showing up with honesty, empathy, and the courage to do the right thing, especially when it’s uncomfortable. Sadly, Pine Acres missed that opportunity. And that’s why we’ll be looking elsewhere next summer. You should too.

Very expensive stay for small sites right on top of people. “Quiet hours” are clearly not enforced as there will be teenagers screaming at 11:30 at night which of course is the parents fault but why am I seeing reviews of other people getting yelled at over golf carts and these noise disturbances are never addressed? Everything activity wise (hot tub, rec room, mini golf) was closed down, alcohol quickly sold out of stock (why such a short stock on a WEEKEND?) the younger teenagers working were the only ones with decent customer service, all the older employee were rude and snappy for nothing. Bathrooms were well kept which I can appreciate

We had our first stay at Pine Acres due to other family members raving about the location. LOVED IT! So much to do on site and the grounds are spotless. We stayed in a full service cabin and loved it. We have made reservations to go back twice next year and we are upgrading to a premium cabin because we are bringing friends back with us!

I just spent a week at the campground and had a great time. We were a large group, taking up two cabins and three waterfront sites. Mine site was 83. The camp ground is beautiful. They really do an amazing job keeping the grounds clean. There was a walkway behind our site along the lake that was lit so beautifully at night. Lot of attention to detail. The laundry facilities were clean. We rented golf carts to cruise around they were great. Last year they were new and had some electronic gps that would slow you down In specific areas. This year that was not the case. We brought our own kayaks and fished daily on the lake. We would go to the ice cream store/cafe daily. The store seems to be run by kids. It didn’t seem like there was anyone older than 18 in the store but they all worked hard and were respectful. My only dislike would be (this has nothing to do with the park) there’s nothing around the area to do. The town had very little unless you wanted to drive about an hour. This was my second time staying at pine acres. We stay for 6 nights watch time I think the pricing is on par for the amenities. We will be back.

Pretty resort. Nice grounds. Unfortunately the older woman with short white hair working the front gate has been extremely rude and even yelled at my dad when he was checking in a visitor. We paid a hefty fee to stay here and don't expect to be greeted with such a rude employee. She was extremely rude to me when I attempted to check in and told me she had no info and rudely said go right to the office and don't think about going anywhere else. My dad is elderly and he was so upset at how he was treated and his guest. She ruined the experience for us. Other staff was very slow and when coin machine took my 5$ I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to reimburse me. Thankfully I wasn't in a rush. Overall okay but staff was a big turn off. Also they decide to cut grass and weed wack at 7 am. Not very peaceful. I would suggest waiting until people are actually up and don't want to be disturbed at that time

Amazing experience for the whole family. The grounds are beautiful and clean and it is a peaceful quiet atmosphere. They are strict about the speed limits so it felt very safe for the kids to ride their bikes around. The staff is what really sets it apart- there are a lot of young enthusiastic staff members who are great with the kids, always friendly, and always willing to help. You can tell that they are treated well here, they all seem very happy. We stayed in one of the cabins- it would be great if there was an option for blackout curtains/shades for the upper windows facing the loft so the kids don't wake up with the sunrise but I guess that's part of a campground! A couple things to note: Make sure you bring pillows (they're not provided in the cabin). TMobile doesn't work anywhere on the grounds, Verizon and other carriers seem to work better. Overall we had a great experience and have already booked for next year!

Husband, kids, dog, and myself had an amazing time at Pine Acres this weekend. It was our first time staying here and we were so impressed with the hospitality, friendliness, and cleanliness of the resort! Reading some of the negative reviews makes it clear that some people just didn’t read the rules ahead of time. I found the rules to be reasonable. I especially appreciate all of the safety measures they take (limiting day visitors, wristbands for all registered guests, gated entrance) to make sure you have a fun and safe stay. Already booked again for next year!

Awesome campground! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Our premium cabin was perfect for my son, and our family. Had everything we needed! Beautiful views of Lake Dean. Lots to do for kids. Country store was awesome. This area of Mass is gorgeous too. Arcade, mini golf, kept my 4 year old entertained. We didn’t go to the pool only cause it was chilly out. We rented a golf cart which was a added bonus. I’m not sure why all those people were complaining, perhaps they should book a room at the Four seasons? Vacations and experiences don’t come at a cheap price. We will return, hopefully soon!

What a lovely place!! Just spent a few days at Pine Acres Resort for the first time. We've been looking for a long term summer site for our RV, well we found it! Staff made us feel welcome everyday, the Resort was clean and very well maintained, the many activities kept our 10 year old and us entertained and sites spaced enough to enjoy quiet time. Everyone camping was friendly and the seasonal campers had nothing but wonderful things to say about Pine Acres Resort. We can't wait to be back next year!!

First time rustic cabin renter. Was extremely pleased with my visit to Pine Acres. Grounds are well kept, everything neat and clean. Very quiet peace stay. Lots of activities during the day for kids, pool, beach, arcade, store, different boat rentals, etc. All staff were extremely pleasant , from gate attendant upon entering all the way through to gate attendant upon leaving. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little get away. Only problem was the time went by too fast and I didn’t want to leave. Thank you all at Pine Acres for the wonderful experience.
