Pismo Sands RV Park

My husband and I have relocated back to the area and had the pleasure of staying at Pismo Sands for the past several months. The staff is truly amazing, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and I would highly recommend anyone to come see for themselves. The best RV resort on the central coast in our opinion! 🤩

This is the best park hands down. The prices beat any other park in the area. Sites are beautiful. Love how they have you face your neighbors. Really cool to meet new people and turn a small site into a large get together. The staff is super amazing. Extremely helpful and professional. Willingness to answer any questions you have. Love the pool and hot tub. Bathrooms are nice and love the laundry site onsite. Very accommodating. Totally recommend to anyone. Hands down our home from here on out.

We will no longer be staying at this park. We have been coming here for many years and this last time we were here there was so many issues. 1. Tried to get propane 3 times today and the first time was because they were out to lunch and the second time is because the guy was gone, but they claimed in their postings that everyone was certified to refill tanks and the 3rd time is because they closed at 3:45. We ended up going somewhere else. There was 2 people sitting in the office doing absolutely nothing. One that said she was certified but was scheduled in a different area. 2. Park looks very junky and dirty. 3. The bathrooms were really dirty. Saw their cleaning crew come in last night with a spin mop. That is no way to clean commercial bathrooms. 4. Fireworks going off after midnight last night in the park. 5. People smoking marijuana and it blowing into our site. 6. Walk into the office and Stormy said she did not have corporates phone number that I had to call and talk to the manager when she comes in. 7. Property looks like a complete dump.We will no longer be staying at this park. We have been coming here for many years and this last time we were here there was so many issues. 1. We haven’t owned an rv in over 6 years and grossly underestimated how busy Pismo rv parks are in the summer. We lucked out getting a spot for a week (Sunday-Saturday) at Pismo Sands and now we won’t ever go to another Pismo rv park again. The ease of quick drive access to dunes entrance (important to us), friendly office staff that are now my bffs, and overall cleanliness and amenities made our trip super special. An owl even landed and hung out with us for about 15 minutes! The “buddy sites” will be great when we travel with family too! We used the laundry room every single day, using the app in the laundry room made it so easy to pay and also be notified through my phone when clothes were done. Even though the park was very busy we still had so much fun, not much traffic or noise- especially after quiet time everyone was respectful. The lawn areas between campsites seemed very generous to us, we felt like we had as much privacy as you can expect! Our family took advantage of the pool, the game room, the library, and the showers were nice for everyone to use at once and not wait taking turns in the trailer! Thank you to all my new friends, and I can’t wait to plan our next trip!

The gals at the Desk, Christina and Stormie make it easy to book your getaway. They are powerfully resourceful in finding a spot that fits your RV in your timeframe. The water pressure is great. The power pedestals are easy to connect to. The traffic pattern makes it pretty easy to pull into any one of the spots. Secure, gated entry and no freeway noise. The pool is clean. The hot tub is hot with great jets. We played ping-pong and traded out some books in their library. They have a little store with essentials like ice cream Earliest check-in time and latest checkout time on the central coast, very convenient to get the most for your money. Reasonably priced as well.

My husband and I went up to Pismo Sands with our two dogs last weekend and it was incredible. Stormie greeted us with a warm smile. She was very helpful and even gave us some ideas of local things to do. The office was super clean, well decorated and welcoming. We stayed in a cabin on site and it was very well cleaned, everything worked and it had all the basic kitchen tools needed to cook. Christina runs a fantastic resort! We will definitely be coming back! Christina and Stormie deserve raises!

We checked in after business hours and still had a perfect stay. The check-in process was very easy, the park was very comfortable, and the parking space was large enough to accommodate our 36' Class A towing a Jeep. Next time we stay, I hope we have more time to enjoy the facility.

My wife and I just pulled in to the campgrounds after a long day of travel. We had the idea that it would be great to start a fire and just relax quietly around the campfire. As it turns out, it looks like we share a fire ring with our neighbor. The neighbor right out front our door has done a good job setting up two picnic tables and all of their stuff for a day or two. Bottom line is if we want to sit outside and have a glass of wine and sit around the campfire, we will be doing so with the family next door. The set up is right on top of each other and not well thought out. This is our third night so far at other campgrounds on our trip. This one is disappointing! Unfortunately we checked in after everyone left or we would have moved to another campground. I recommend you pass on this campground. There is a reason this one had so many spots open while every other one in the area was sold out! I hope the ownership sees this review and offers a full refund!

We took our kiddos here for a fun staycation the weekend before Halloween. THEY HAD THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIME!!! from cookie and cupcake decorating, to an epic bounce house and more trick or treat candy and decorations than their lil brains could fathom. Every part of the resort staff were amazing; from check in to check out; front desk to grounds maintenance, all of them deserve the highest compliments. Christina is the manager and was always available if needed. We loved seeing her enjoying the festivities right along with the guests. Kudos to all staff and guests who truly made this an experience to remember for our family ❤️❤️

False advertisement. This place Pismo Sands RV "Resort " . Keep in mind it's a "Resort" not a "campground " only a campground when the manager Christina wants it to be. Her rules only apply to certain individuals and or families during your stay. Decorations are only allowed "during holiday time when the office tells you it's ok" nothing else is allowed on/ area the campsite. Christina is dirty. DIRTY work is done here ( Pismo sands rv resort in Oceano) , if you like that cup of tea , this is your place to be. To her unprofessional non sense chameleon self. Figure it out !!! It's pretty easy to see through. It's unfortunate, how Christina runs the office and the "property" to only her expectations and who she chooses to tow and discriminate against. It's known. It's facts. It's shown. Christina isn't just a " manager " at Pismo Sands it's deeper than that. She will send out a private message to you if she's got your number making herself feel good before she attacks all areas and states false accusations directly to you. She lies! She thinks she's good. A little icing for y'all get readyyyyyy are you ready?!?! Is that Christina has her own business in the "Resort/ Campground & if you park in or next to her spot she rents out with her trailer (s) that gets rented , she barges in to your camper unannounced to scream letting us know we're in her spot that's being rented by Christina, not Pismo Sands RV Resort.( my teenagers had the door unlocked as they were there to load up fishing poles ) hanging out for a second of course. What company, management slams open a families camper door, without knocking at all ... that is fully against the law. Yet, the people that were renting her trailer, parked at the wrong spot as they stated they rented the cabins. Mmmmmmmm !!! Sink that in!!! Hallelujah on your smile that didn't and couldn't get this family in your toxic environment and ways within yourself, others on how the park is operated. Thanks for showing your true true self fully to a local family. Including our children that is. Cheers!!!

We stayed for 2 days in space 134 and had an amazing time. The park was quiet and pool/spa clean. Our neighbor was a resident so she was quiet which was perfect for us. We enjoyed having an in ground firepit! Showers were hot and staff inside was very friendly! We will be back!

I don’t normally camp at RV resorts, but this one was so so nice. The sites are spacious and all have grass. The pool and hot tub were immaculate. There was even a “doggy wash station”!! I would stay here again.

Pismo Sands RV Resort is THE BEST RV resort destination on the central coast of California. The amenities include a large heated pool and spa (kept perfect temp year round) game room for the kids, large bathrooms with hot showers, generously sized lots for each RV, and a staff that is second to none. They also have several homes for rent on the premises for families without RVs. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family!!! Good job Pismo Sands RV Resort!!

I was extremely satisfied with our stay at Pismo Sands. I brought my two grandkids, aged 6 and 9, and we made the most of the amenities. The game room was a daily highlight, especially the ping pong table. The pool and jacuzzi, which we initially thought would be closed for repairs, were pleasantly open for use. We also took a short drive to the beach and explored the tide pools, which was a wonderful addition to our trip. I appreciated the convenience of washing clothes using a pay-by-phone system. The entire site and resort were spotless and well-maintained. We had such a positive experience that we definitely plan to return.

NO PLAY AREA! Booked this place due to the awesome pirate themed play area all over their reviews and website. Told my kids all about it as we drove from San Diego to get there. When we arrived it was only caution tape. It has not recently been taken down. There is nothing waiting to be assembled. There is absolutely no play area for kids. There has not been one for some time. I would not have stayed here if they had been honest on their website. It's not hard to update.
