I love this place! First visit. Better signage, maybe a slow down lane? Hard to get in and out with traffic. Nice, clean place. Office has a few essentials. DVDs to trade. Nice touch. Laundry was not expensive, $2(?), must stay w/clothes. Weather did not cooperate. Chilly, rainy. Did not get out walking. Shopping is close, box stores, Walmart, target, Lowe's, etc. our site was long enough for our 33' tt. Had a good picnic table, nice bushes and trees between sites.

This was one of if not the nicest rv park we have stayed in. The facilities were immaculate. They have there own hiking trails and picnic area's in the rocks. The views were amazing. Their prices were resonable. We will definitely be back.

This location is within walking distance of the lake. If you like the look of the lake, about a fourth of the spaces in this RV campground look very similar. There are two bath houses, one for each half of the park. The spaces that are closest to the lake or just absolutely beautiful. They tuck up into the rocks. It's a beautiful place to spend a couple of days. We've been there twice.

This is a very well taken care of RV Park. This was my first time in an one but the bathrooms were INSANELY clean. The grounds were tidy but not over kept so it was still a bit of a natural outdoorsy feel. Most of the other tenants/patrons were also super respectful and quiet. Watson Lake being so close is super awesome, close enough to town but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. I can't wait for our next trip.

Awesome Park! Arrived to a large reservation board on the office wall with our information packet clearly labeled with our name printed on it, great directions to our spot and tail map. Park has very nice facilities, bathrooms, laundry, picnic area and walking trails. Park was neat, clean, tress were trimmed for clearance and plenty of clearly labeled trash bins. Great older park that is well maintained! We will be back soon!!!

I am a little surprised at all the praise for this campground. The adjacent lake is beautiful, no doubt , and there are things to do in the area. My complaint is more about customer service and stems from my extensive RV travel experience and expectations. Most RV resorts are extremely pleasant and accommodating. I am on the road 4 to 5 months of every year. I am disappointed about the value of this campground by comparison and response from their team. My RV spot was #42. It is a "premium" spot $68 per night! I expected better. We picked up our reservation packet and had a hard time deciphering the site directional map and missed our camp site. It was hard to turn around (frustrating). My husband did an outstanding job backing into a spot on quite a steep incline (kudos to my husband, but frustrating). Immediately upon arrival we noticed how LOUD the site was from road noise (super frustrated). So, I inquired about a refund as 5 nights suddenly seemed like too long to stay here. I used the campground on-line interface and chose cancellation and proceeded to make an inquiry and asked what the cancel amount would be if I decided to only stay 3 nights. I made it clear I was not willing to pay full night cancellation amounts. I was automatically cancelled and charged full amount cancellation prices. They said since I choose "cancellation" and not "inquiry only" it was my fault and they had every right to cancel my reservation. Their tone was very snippy as well and apparently my comments in the submission box didn't matter. They offered to move me (if I acted fast and if there was availability). No thank you, now I just want to leave. I was expecting an apology. Nope. I was expecting they would make things right, by not charging me the cancel penalty. Nope. The whole experience at the end of our trip was upsetting.

This is definitely a 5 star campground. Great scenery, staff friendly and professional, everything clean and neat and wonderful trails with great views of Watson Lake and Willow Lake. The hookups were conveniently located for full hookups. Close to Prescott and all campers seem like they were having a good time. Very pet friendly and pets allowed on the trails with many doggie stations with poop bags and disposal. Trails very well groomed. This was a terrific stop !

It's a very nice campground with stunning mountain ( Granite Dells) views. The trees provide shade and privacy. It was extremely quiet except for a bit of road noise. My only disappointment was the low level of wifi, which did not allow for TV streaming. It was fine for email, etc.

Where here for 4 days on holiday to get away from the hustle an bustle of daily life. It is not advisable for campgrounds to allow political flags because they can disrupt the peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere many campers seek, potentially alienating or offending other guests, and leading to conflicts or complaints that diminish the overall camping experience for everyone. Instead of open political displays, campgrounds might promote a neutral, relaxing environment where guests can escape from political stresses, or they could allow political flags only under specific rules that limit size, duration, and location, similar to how other signage is managed.

My husband and I stayed here over the winter and hands down, this is the best park in the state of Arizona! This will forever be our home away from home when we come through the West. Even over the phone, everyone in the office was happy to help and answer questions and even helped us pick out a site we liked before we arrived. Once we did, Jason, the office manager, was incredibly kind and even went out of his way on multiple occasions to help us with extending our stay and giving recommendations for the area and our future travels. We had to move sites at one point for a last minute extension and Jason made it a point to help us try and keep our site, helping me check literally every day to see if we could make it work. He made sure we felt comfortable coming to the office with anything we needed. The park itself had beautiful, spacious sites, where each one gives you your own bit of privacy from neighbors and enough room to actually enjoy being outside. The laundry is always impeccably clean and is only $1 per load! They even have a hiking trail and scenic overlook at the back of the park you can take and enjoy views of the lake. The park is only about 10 minutes outside downtown Prescott. We had easy access to the gym, grocery stores, and downtown, which had plenty to do and lots of great little restaurants. Prescott is home to Whiskey Row, an awesome historic district with one of the oldest saloons in the country, which was an awesome visit. There was a lot to explore and we didn’t even get to see it all. There is plenty of hiking as well, so there is enough for everyone to enjoy whether you want to get out and explore or hang out at the park. A huge thanks again to Jason for everything he did to help during our stay! This will be our first stop through Arizona from now on and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Great place to stay!! Walking distance to great hikes around Watson lake and Willow lake. Our site was on the hill with great views. Like many of the RV places, the sites are very close to each other, so we've learned thats the norm in some RV PARKS.

We were in the back (#54) and things were pretty nice. We did walks to Watson park multiple times a day. We did the whole lake loop. MTB trails that were marked blue were much easier than we are used to in Colorado or that we found in Cottonwood or Flagstaff. We did Pioneer park and headwaters. Target and REI were about 15 minutes away, town just a bit longer. There are a lot of rules make sure you read the website before committing. We happened to hit a colder and windier week so we did NOT get to paddleboard. When booking be careful not to book by sites 68-74 which over look the road and have the noises to go with that. We did not walk the front loop but I would also be worried about road noise.

We had a great stay here. Loved the hiking trails and the over all location. We come to this area yearly for our kids soccer tournament. Their games on sundays are always up in the air on times. This is the only place we have stayed at that charged us for an entire extra night stay when asked if there was anyone checking in after us to see if we could extend our checkout times just a little longer. I also understand it’s their policy it’s just hard when we travel for youth sports and it all depends on brackets. We typically never know what times we are playing on Sunday until that. If you are a traveling for sports, I would keep that in mind while staying here. There are some other places around that are little more understanding and know you aren’t not just trying to take advantage of a late check out.

Point of Rocks RV Campground is a fantastic getaway in Prescott, surrounded by stunning granite rock formations and offering direct access to Watson Lake and Granite Dells trails. The sites are well-maintained and private, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Clean facilities, a peaceful atmosphere, and unbeatable scenery make this a top spot for RV travelers. Whether you’re hiking, biking, or just relaxing, this campground is a must-visit!

We had a great time camping at Point of Rocks. Our campsite was nice. The trail to Watson Lake right off the campsite was very nice and super convenient. The lake is beautiful! It reminds me of the Alabama Hills with water! So pretty! We had a Bald Egale flying over our heads too! The grounds keeper, Rich was super sweet and very helpful. The bathroom , though a bit on the older side were very clean and warm. The water pressure and temp in the shower was perfect! Thank you!!
