I went here yesterday for stomach pain.. that being said the ambulance gave me half a dose of fetynal in ambulance then other when we arrived to hospital due to them wanting me to go through triage like everyone else. They had me on oxygen and got me to the back and then took oxygen off. They gave me another dosage of morphine and they kept poking me for blood.. and a urine sample they never did a ct or offered before they gave the other morphine they gave me a couple options and I choose morphine for the pain due to me knowing how it works on me.. they gave that then I was crying in pain they gave me another med and it sent me into a straight paranoid panic attack. Where I was confused and really upset and paranoid I told the nurse she was it will go away in 30 mins or less I said okay and she was like sometimes the meds will do that⌠if thatâs the reaction shouldnât you tell the patient that? And I sat there trying to calm down with no comfort very moving around worried. Then I decided Iâm leaving with out medical advice so I did. When I got home I was less paranoid but so tired I couldnât function but yet I couldnât sleep so I tried and if I did happen to fall asleep still could hear everything around me.. kept waking up with a bunch of sweat donât know if I had a fever or not but feels like it.. I feel I should have been treated better and more aware what was going on in my medical process. Never have I left with out doctors approval..

The entire staff have been the most caring, supportive and kind while tending to my needs. The surgeon is amazing and Dr Anderson took care of my broken hip with minimally invasive procedures to repair the damage I had done. It's the day after and I have no pain to speak of. With the exceptional care I'm getting to go home today It doesn't get any better than that.

Your staff is so accomodating friendly & helpful. And well organized. From the time I entered the ER to being admitted for 2 days I felt taken care of and special. The ER staff was wonderful. They understood my pain and were very considerate

Brought my dad in yesterday for what we suspected were kidney stones. After dealing with ridiculous waiting times in my dadâs room he was treated and released and told to pee in a strainer they would give him. We left and it wasnât given to him. My husband went down there to get one this morning and was told he would have to wait like everyone else. REALLY? so he would have to wait hours for what one nurse could simply grab and hand him? The lady was rude as can be about the situation too. My husband was just trying to get what my dad needed. This hospital used to be decent. Itâs severely gone downhill in the last several years.

I was in YRMC for 3-days . Everyone that I was in contact with gave a professional attitude. This was my first multiple days for a Hospital stay. I must say any questions I had the staff answered or would find the answer including the virtual nurses, Peace, Hope and Emily. Thank you kindly.

2x to emergency. Doctors app. Said I need mri. They wait 3 days to get approval from insurance. Will have to go to emergency again. They don't care about your pain! Come back in 2 weeks for follow up? You didn't DO anything to help.

Had an early morning test today. Because I pre-registerd online, it was a quick stop at the admissions desk. The specialist was friendly and professional. He then took me to the imaging center. From there, Eugene greeted me and explained the procedure. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. All portions of the test went smoothly. Because there were wait times in between the testing, I spent time in the main lobby or walked the halls. Between the volunteers and other staff members, everyone was so nice and made sure I was being taken care of. One volunteer even offered me a cookie! I had to decline because I wasnt supposed to have anything to eat.đ Great experience overall!

The new âfastâ area of the ER is just as slow as it ever was before the remodel, but now there is 0 privacy. Youâre literally 2 feet from another patient on either side of you. I heard the patient next to me tell his wife that â(first and last name) from church is here, and she has (problem). I wonder why she hasnât reached out. We should call (other church member) to get the word out.â Like, what the heck? I want to have an open conversation about my health with my provider, but I had to explain them knowing full well that several other members of the community could hear me, and I wouldnât even know who was listening. The doctor was competent and compassionate. The radiology team was professional. But the curtain-walled stalls make you feel like cattle up for auction, there was no call button, and I had to listen to every other patientâs descriptions of intimate symptoms for over 2 hours. Iâll come back if I need to, but I hope they take some steps to protect patient privacy and modesty.

We were seen to promptly and all levels of staff were very caring and provided lots of information. Rocky the respiratory specialist was a particular comfort in a stressful situation, as she went above and beyond to provide treatment as well as bring some cheer with her great attitude. Dr Campbell was super knowledgeable and really took time to answer our questions and put us at ease when it was time to be discharged. Thank you team!

I went into the ER after urgent care turned me away after having heart arrhythmia, blood pressure issues, and electrolyte issues. Got in quickly which was nice. I was one of two people in the waiting room and so it wasnât busy. The nurse was great. She explained evaluation and testing thoroughly to multiple patients; had a great bedside manner and explained aftercare steps and timeline. If people have legitimate complaints, there is a grievance process and it is important to file a complaint to create a paper trail for a particular staff member. You donât help anyone by staying silent. Managers/supervisors need to know whatâs going on. If there is true medical negligence, licensing board info is public record that you can look up and where can report a staff member to the board. This is a serious step and there needs to be a grievance in place weâll before you consider taking this step. Now, if your nurse and/or doctor are doing a good job, please tell them. They donât hear it enough and it positively reinforces the standard of care. Thank you Dani (short for Danielle I think) for being an informative, caring, and thorough nurse with positive attitude. You are an exceptional nurse. Thank you
