Overview
Located within the majestic Prince Albert National Park, Beaver Glen Campground offers a serene escape into the heart of Saskatchewan’s boreal forest. Unlike high-density commercial resorts, this park provides a natural forest setting where privacy and tranquility are prioritized. It serves as a premier destination for RVers seeking to reconnect with nature while remaining close to the amenities of the Waskesiu Lake townsite. The park is managed by Parks Canada, ensuring well-maintained grounds and a preserved environment for all guests.
Location & Surroundings
The campground is situated on a gentle hillside overlooking the clear waters of Waskesiu Lake. Boating and fishing are popular activities on the lake, where anglers frequently catch northern pike and walleye. The interpretive programs offered at the Nature Centre add an educational layer to any family vacation.

I camped in my car in late May and there were hardly any people around. The place was amazing, with the lake just a short walk away. Just keep in mind that the network connection is very weak

What is Parks Canada doing? Washrooms closed for cleaning at 8:00am. Shower water turned off in the afternoon. Feels like gross mismanagement to us! Makes for an unpleasant stay.

This is one of the weirdest national parks we have been to. Not what we expected. More like a provincial or private campground. More commercial than natural. Nice washrooms, good fire pits, large campsites. Had rowdies making noise and arguing until at least 5 am. Did not seem to be any nightly patrols! Very uncomfortable night. Okay to stay but would not go out of my way to stay here.

Love this campground. Great staff, walking distance to town but still nice and quiet. Definitely the best camp showers (clean, hot, lots of pressure, free). Overflow parking nearby is also very helpful.
