I camped in my car in late May and there were hardly any people around. The place was amazing, with the lake just a short walk away. Just keep in mind that the network connection is very weak

What is Parks Canada doing? Washrooms closed for cleaning at 8:00am. Shower water turned off in the afternoon. Feels like gross mismanagement to us! Makes for an unpleasant stay.

This is one of the weirdest national parks we have been to. Not what we expected. More like a provincial or private campground. More commercial than natural. Nice washrooms, good fire pits, large campsites. Had rowdies making noise and arguing until at least 5 am. Did not seem to be any nightly patrols! Very uncomfortable night. Okay to stay but would not go out of my way to stay here.

Love this campground. Great staff, walking distance to town but still nice and quiet. Definitely the best camp showers (clean, hot, lots of pressure, free). Overflow parking nearby is also very helpful.

It was pretty nice! Not too noisy, despite a lot of people coming & going. It was a decent size too! Fit a boat, truck, motor home/van & small tent. Our spot was tucked away in some trees which was great, and had easy access to the washrooms. There’s some trails to explore/go on a nice morning walk, and we saw plenty of elk & animals around haha. The bathrooms were also pretty clean, and we were able to shower/get everything we needed no problem!

The campground is huge! The sites are decent but not very sheltered from each other and mostly just gravel. There is wood available and the bathrooms are good if a bit worn and aged. Despite paying online you are still required to check in at the kiosk and there is an extra $10 charge for a campfire permit. The surrounding area is beautiful and the night sky is amazing if it's clear.

Loved camping in our tent here. The facilities were well maintained and clean (flushing toilets and hot showers). Short walk to Waskesiu lake (beautiful to watch the sunset from there). Saw a bunch of wildlife and heard wolves howling during the night.

This is our favourite campgrounds to visit. Well maintained, clean, close to the beach, lots of hiking trails, and so many kayaking options. We try to go at least twice a year.

We stay at k1 slot. We are an old fashion camper, which means tent, nature, explore… 🏕 This campground was good except the washroom location, too far from my spot. Overall it was a great experience. We will definitely going back next year. Great hiking options. Waskesiu has a lot of options for activities. This is the place for you to have a great summer.
