Second time to stay here. We camp in a travel trailer. The check in is super simple. They lead you to your site and always ask if there's anything else they can help with. They have several activities for kids.

I am fairly disappointed with this place. As a first time KOA visiter, I wish the standards were set higher, but now I am not so sure about paying for the "membership" With that - I want to say first, the staff is AMAZING. I didnt talk to anyone who wasn't kind and helpful. The bathrooms are nice, although they need new shower heads in most. The water was good and hot. If you are thinking about this location for the "Prizer Lagoon" do not. There is no lagoon. The whole area is run down and nearly a safety hazard. All the activities around the lagoon are also closed. The restaurant is "eh". We all ordered steaks and they were disappointing, under seasoned and way overcooked. The pull through sites have ZERO shade. Get a back in site if you go during the summer. The fire rings in the pull through are built into the concrete and are uncomfortably close to the RVs/cars, so we didnt use them. There is NO control over kids here. There are kids flying down the roads on golf carts/scooters/electric bikes/etc. We had kids run through our site and knock over a table and just leave everything laying. The pools are decent, but on the smaller side so they got packed in quickly. There were a few things listed for the 4th of July "event" (like an italian ice seller and some food trucks) that were not there. It was quite pricey for the weekend, for the lack of listed amenities.

Tiffany the operation director was awesome however, the sites are packed. Ran into some rude people using our corner site for their personal sidewalk. Almost got ran over by a golf cart sitting in front of my site. Site 26 should be removed.

Imagine looking forward to dining at your favorite steakhouse on Friday. After placing your order for a steak, you wait with anticipation, only to be served a hotdog. When you point out the mistake, the waitress informs you, “We only had one steak and you didn’t “”lock it in””, the customer beside you paid more and we gave it to him instead.” Confused, you explain that you were never asked or informed about needing to “lock it in” to secure the steak. You then ask if you would be charged less since you ordered a steak but received a hotdog. She replied, “No.” This is exactly how the Cadiz KOA responded when I showed up to camp at my lakeside spot but discovered because I didn’t “lock it in” I had been moved. Basically a reservation means nothing if someone is willing to pay more.

Great location. Just some observations. Pretty good camping spots. Although many of them have the fire pit built into the concrete slab and are too close to where the RV parks on the slab, which makes the pits pretty much useless in many spots. Many dead and dying trees that really need to be cut down before they cause damage to RVs. Speed limits are not enforced. Kids driving around without parents in golf carts and quads, etc. is not enforced. Noise is not enforced. I recommend this park but be aware of the above that I just spoke on. We would come back to this park.

Awesome KOA. Everyone there went above and beyond for an exhausted traveler on the road. Shane, Pete, Charlene and many others were generous when they didn’t have to be. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a cabin and honestly it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked and the amenities are showing their age. The staff were very nice though and the setting was beautiful! I loved waking up and walking around the campground as the sun was coming up over the lake. That was my absolute favorite. My family enjoyed the pools, the aquatic playground, and the fire pit. The manager, Tiffany, and the waitress, Bre, were super nice and made our stay the best it could be. They went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay.

We have been coming to Prizer for years and were so saddened to realize this would be our last trip there due to the general decline of the facilities and awful customer service. We are usually easy to please, but this was incredibly disappointing. The cabins were not ready until almost a hour past check in time, there were not adequate linens for the beds, and the welcome center staff were dismissive when approached to help find resolution. We spent over $1000 for a campsite and two cabins, but quickly realized the experience would have been much better at a State Park. We won’t be back.

The staff was polite. The tent camping could be organized a little better. The hosts had a hard time finding our spot(as they are escorting us in). We paid for our firewood on Friday afternoon, and it was not delivered til after dark on Saturday. We understand that things happen, but we were told it would be 10 minutes and we waited for an hour after going back to the store to ask where it was. Would be perfect if it was more organized. Boating and fishing was great! The people working inside the restaurant and store were polite and attentive.

#1- The person on the golf cart took us to an RV site where the sewage was in the wrong place, we could not hook up to sewage. When we were ready to leave, we had to pull RV down to the sewage and connect. #2- there were no lawn chairs to sit in until we were leaving, then they came and set them up. #3- The washed rocks around the campsite were unstable, trying to get from the concrete pad to the jeep was a challenge. I will not return.

What an amazing time! Our family had our reunion there, and we can’t stop talking about how wonderful it was. Beautifully maintained and lots of fun things to do for all ages, Prizer Point really is the whole package. This place has everything you could want for a quick getaway, or an extended stay. We, of course, had to tool around in the golf cart and check it all out😊…..whether at your site, or enjoying one of the MANY cool activities, there’s gorgeous Kentucky scenery all around you. The customer service blew my mind- Above and Beyond doesn’t even begin to cover it. Each and every staff member we encountered were so friendly and accommodating…so many places make you feel like just a number, Prizer Point staff make you feel like a valued guest. Seriously, if you are looking for a very memorable experience….whether you’re brand new to camping or a seasoned camper….whether you tent camp, have an RV, or want to lodge in everything from a small cabin to a condo….try Prizer Point. This place has it all. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Too many damn kids riding all over in golf carts. Can't even walk around.
