Pueblo El Mirage RV & Golf Resort

We stayed at Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort for two weeks over Christmas and New Years. The resort is clean and well kept, spaces are level, there is a ton of amenities (pickleball courts galore, tennis courts, lawn bowling, shuffleboard, craft rooms, wood shop, large pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room, even a golf course), the staff, residents, and other visitors are all friendly and welcoming, there is a small dog park, and many people walk their dogs throughout the park. The resort is gated and the gate is tended, so I would say that the park is pretty secure, residents do leave golf clubs strapped into their golf carts overnight, and people do have easily removed items on their porches and paitos without incident. The majority of the park is comprised of permanent park models and upscale manufactured homes, but all are well maintained and the sites are free of clutter or unsightly items. The RV spots that are scattered throughout the resort are clean and level, have a cement pad for your step, and a permanent table and benches. Besides the resort itself, the park is situated within 15 minutes of some of the professional baseball teams spring training facilities, an assortment of grocery stores, a few different Walmart stores, the Arizona Cardinals stadium, factory outlet stores, Costco, and Sam's club. There are two potential drawbacks to the location - one is that it is fairly close to Luke AFB, so you will hear F-35s flying overhead (I call it, "The sound of freedom") during the daytime. The other potential drawback is that there is some risk of having your vehicle(s) damaged by errant golf balls (remember, there is an active golf course amid the RVs and permanent homes). We enjoyed our stay, and will happily return to this resort.

Enormous property with lots of homes. Very clean resort. Event hall large for parties, entertainment and fun. Residents are so friendly and fun.

It provides all the amenities of rv hookups with the added social life of being in a neighborhood setting. The pool area is great, the surroundings have all the stores. It's very clean and safe and oh yeah, there's a golf course!

When you drive through this place, it looks very nice. But once you check in and get settled, you have to travel quite a ways for anything you need. The bar and grill at the golf course was only open one day a week for 2 hours at lunch time. The main pool was not heated for over a month and a half. The computer room was closed they said because of COVID. Come to find out it was because they did not have a monitor, another lie. If you want to play any of the sports like pickle ball, lawn bowling, shuffle board, it is an additional charge. These charges are not mentioned in the welcome packet when you arrive. We left a month early and decided to go to a different resort in Mesa that does not charge you for music at the pool and the pool is always well maintained. I would not waste your money. There are much better resorts available

There's a lot to like about this place. Super clean. Friendly. The pool is amazing. Lemon and orange and palm trees at every spot. For being in the city there was a surprising amount of wildlife around. 2 dog parks and plenty of spots for doggie bags. Gated, and security takes their job seriously. We didn't have to worry about bikes getting stolen. Plenty of activities and social life if that's your thing. Only drawback are the planes. Very loud and sometimes they fly in as late as 11pm. If you can tune them out then you'll be fine .

Not a bad place to live
